Hat's off to Texas Roy. Last night wasn't a fluke. He played awesome and never gave up on any play. Ran his routes as dictated. Finally earned some of that dough.

I just hope that this was not some fluke game and he goes back to sucking now.

I like Roy, I really do. I'm cheering for him and actually want him to be a big factor this year.

But 1 good game means nothing. Honestly =p. 1 game does not equate to "see, told you he was good".

Its been more than one good game. He's had a good year. If you cant tell the difference between the three games this SEASON (and training camp/preseason) from the last two, somethings wrong.

His route running has improved vastly, and he's making every tough catch there is.

One game means everything when it's one game at a time. Roy helped us have a chance to save our season. He was ballin' out there. It's good for us that he and Romo are getting comfortable with each other.

He should have had another first down, around a 20 yarder, when Romo misfired to the sidelines.

I have to admit I was one of the guys trying to run him out of town this offseason. Glad I'm not in charge of personnel.

He's played well this year.

Here's to you, Roy.

On probable passing plays Austin is getting bracketed and sometimes over the top coverage and Witten gets doubled, that leaves 6 defenders to rush the QB and cover the other 3 receivers. Roy has been the one on one matchup for the last 8 games or so. He should get big numbers and I fully expect him to.

Is anyone else getting excited when you see Roy making plays out there? I'm genuinely happy for him. He's a good guy and has said all the right things since coming here. That never translated on the field, but from a personal stand point I've always wanted him to prove the doubters (including myself wrong). I'm glad he finally is starting to.

I liked seeing him and Romo with the high-five on the sideline and laughing together. Sounds corney, but maybe there's some confidence and chemistry building going on.

Same here. Hopefully he's actually starting to get into a rhythm with Tony and they can continue to click.

Feels good man.

He's played the good soldier ever since he got here, even while everyone was trying to crucify him, he has kept a good attitude. He hasn't been what everyone expected, and despite the decent start to the season he may not ever be, but it's nice to see him finally have some success.

I think protection broke down and Romo had to get that one out of there hurriedly, but yes, if the ball was on the money it would've been a huge grab.

I am excited about Roy as well and he is much better this year than last. I think the Cowboys drafting Dez was the best thing that could have happened for Roy.

Ray Sherman early in camp talked about some of the work they were doing with RW like keeping his pads low coming off the line of scrimmage and that has helped RW get a better release and in turn makes for better timing with Romo since he can get to the spot he needs to be. A game like he had and the fact he has been making the catches coming his way thus far in the season will only build the confidence RW has in himself and as important the confidence Romo and Jason will put into RW.

He's been pretty good all year outside of the stripped fumble last week.

He gets a lot of man coverage and he isn't so bad that he can't beat man coverage.

Also Martellus is quietly having a good year.

The jab step he made on both TD's was a beautiful thing. The CB bit on it both times and was completely out of both plays!

And Catch 17 I have been pleasantly surprised by Bennett too - it seems he is gaining some of Romo's trust and has done quite well.

It sure took a while to figure out how to fit him into the offense ... but it looks like it is finally happening.

The emergence of Austin has helped a great deal too.

He is definitely putting a TON more effort into the game and doing what he really didn't want to do. (going inside)

I guess the fear of losing your job to a more talented player will do that to you.

And Romo seems to be finally developing some trust in him. He's actually looking for him now...And we seem to be calling plays to him that are fit his talents

I'm happy he's doing good. May never live up to the contract, but man... the crap he gets. You'd think he was the worst receiver to ever play the game.

I'm also very happy he hasn't had his head knocked off. The man can take a hit.
