Terrible draft.

Terrible post.

Ouch though. Sorry ca, i tried to draft Newman again, but they told me since he's already on the team it just wouldn't be possible.

:eek::

That's not my beef with your draft.

Surely in the 7th round you could take the greatest mascot in college football instead of that bald-headed mountain lion:

Hmm.. that is a good point. How many reps did he do? :D

Can you imagine if we had that draft + If we added Nnamdi Asomugha or Champ from Free Agency!

I don't know for sure, but I do know he's got the strength of a mule :laugh1:

That begs the question though - is Rowdy really going to retire? Or pull a Favre?

Well I've been getting some rather inappropriate text messages from him lately so I'd say the latter.

That's a rock solid mock.

Not as good as mine, but rock solid.

I truly believe the 3-4 DE you get at 41 this year could easily be as good or better than the guy who goes top 15.

LOL.. thanks man.

You make a very good point about the DE's that could potentially be there at our 2nd rounder. If we get Heyward or Watt, they could very well have just as good a career as Fairley or Dareus.

I keep Spears and go.......

1) Garimi RT

2) Pouncey RG

3a) Deunta FS

3b) Moffett LG

Overdrafting OL???? I'm fixing this mess once and for all and drafting Gurode's replacement next year. Get the C from Wisconsin when he comes out.

Can't overdraft OL at this point. Not all of them are going to hit, i like this draft. If we traded down we'd probably get a second second though ha. If Wisniewski was still there i'd take him over Pouncey too. Either would be solid pick ups though.

I definitely prefer Wiz over Pouncey but I'm trying not to make my mock too homeristic. He's very, very smart. Believe he's a 3.9 student. We certainly could use some brains on this OL.

Definately.. hes a very tough kid too. Good background, plays mean. We'd love him in Dallas.

heres my lastest

1 Derek Sherrod, OT
2 Deunta Williams FS NC
3A Jarvis Jenkins, DT, Clemson
3B Kristofer O'Dowd C/G USC - this would be steal in 3rd
4 Dwayne Harris, WR/KR, East Carolina
5 Karl Klug DE/DT Iowa
6 Chris Neilds NT WV
7 Caleb Schlauderaff, G, Utah

Not bad at all.. i think if we get a FS in the second round though, i'd prefer Rahim Moore.

Would be a solid draft though.

Those guys are both 1st or at worst top 2nd round picks.

I agree. Watt could be there in the top of the 2nd which would be great. I'm assuming the trade was with the Pats.

I am not sure about Jarvis Jenkins, DT, Clemson if he will last that long

and maybe Allen Resiner TE IA 6-3 #250 add him in the 7th rd

but I like my sleeper

Caleb Schauferaff Utah 6-4 #300

if he turns out like Zane Beadles, OT/G, Utah

he be big steal that late

I think most of us are hoping for the OT in the first be it Sherrod/Carimi

hope Jerry has some reading this board
