The first guy I met was Ted Hendricks. What a great guy he was, stood there and talked with me for several minutes. I was actually the one to walk away, he would have talked as long as I wanted to. He talked about some of those great Cowboys teams of the 70's and talked about hanging out with Dorsett and Randy White.

I loved watching Hendricks play back in the day. In fact our coach called me "Stork" when I played OLB in high school because of him (I'm pretty tall too).

when you met Gurode and handed him something to sign....

did he take a little time to actually sign it once you handed it to him? or was he quick about it, like a Center would be quick to get the ball to the QB on the designated snap count?

just curious...

knowing Gurode, he probably wrote A and it took him a couple of seconds to finish the rest of his name
