Rule question!

You can't use another player to propel yourself into the air or come down on another player attempting to block a FG.

Ohhhhh yeah.... didn't a Cowboy get called for that in a game a couple of years ago, when it happens virtually every game?

Thanks for jogging my memory there, I appreciate it.

I think it's more they're pointing at their teammate, reminding him to step-up to the LOS. You see the inside man point out to the sidelines, or the WR lined up on the sideline, but you also see the guy on the sidelines point in towards the center of the field, depending on the formation.

I mean really Hos, everyone knows, there's no "courtesy" in football. ;)
There's courtesy to the refs. You want them to like you since they have special laundry.

On XP's and FG's, I know you can't leap off of another players back to block the kick. Maybe that is it??

If a player jumps he has to land back on his feet or just not on another player.

Along with that, only guys on the line can jump. Anyone off the line of scrimmage cannot jump. I think Dat Nguyen got a penalty for this a few years ago. I am pretty sure it goes back to the Cowboys when the were trying to block the FG in SBV against the Colts at the end of the game.
