Sorry guys but a Camaro is a Camaro. I'm not going to say it's ugly but it doesn't work for me. If you are into mullets, natural light beer and pro wrestling, then you will like Camaros but the ladies certainly don't.
Actually, my 67 Camaro SS350 was the reason my second ex-fiancee started flirting with me...
I don't like beer, when I was still drinking I was a Jack Daniels man, never had a mullet, and am only a casual fan of pro wrestling... so much for your stereotyping...
The Dodge Challenger is pretty nice and I respect that car
And the Challenger is a blatant ripoff of the Camaro, LOL...
but the only Dodge sports car I'm interested in is the Viper...
Now, that's one ugly car, it looks to me like it's trying hard to look like an Italian sports car... of course, I don't like Vettes either, because of all the louvers and scoops they tack on... I like cleaner lines on my performance cars...
I don't like second generation Camaros, or fourth generation Camaros, to me they were both rather ugly... the third generation Camaros had good clean lines on them, but unfortunately that was a time when GM was putting nothing but gutless drivetrains in all of their vehicles... I have seen some of the third generation that were highly modified and were exceptional cars, though...
But the epitome of the Camaro experience was the first generation... my first car was a 67 Camaro, with the 327 2 barrel and the Powerglide auto... it was nothing special, as Camaros go, but I ran that thing HARD...
If I could have my choice of one muscle car to turn into a street machine, I'd go with a 68 Camaro convertible, and drop a ZL-1 aluminum 427 into it, backed by the TH-400 auto and a 3.73 posi rear end... that thing would have a complete Comp Cams valvetrain, Baer stainless steel disc brakes with big rotors and 4 piston calipers, all the good stuff...
And it would have the Hugger Orange paint job, white SS stripes, a white convertible top and custom white leather interior... it would have a Custom AutoSound stereo (designed to look like late 60s factory stock, but with modern technology)...
Never had a big block, never had a ragtop... so if my ship ever comes in, I've got plans, LOL...
