Ya, but I'd rather have them trade for Chad than Boldin..only because Philly fans want Boldin so bad

Wow.... First I hear about the possibility that the Jets might steal Austin from us and now this??? Can the day get any worse? Seriously...

Joke as much as you would like to about McFlabb having another mild mannered WR to toss to but the combination of Chad Johnson and Desean Jackson receiving passes from McFlabb would be ridiculous.

Back when Chad cared, he was intolerable for Palmer. He would go like crazy, but everytime Carson came to the sideline there was Chad in his earhole giving him a piece of his mind. It was every week, but never got the coverage of anything T.O. did becuase, well...it's Cincinnatti.

Last year, Chad got alot worse, and stopped caring completely. He just went out, went through the motions and then came back and sulked on the bench.

So Philly would be getting one of those two characters, I think. Either way, I'm not worried about it. Even if they get the talented first rendition, it's only a matter of time before McNabb orders him to shut up in the huddle.

HUGH!

Ya like when our offense was going to be unstoppable with Roy,Owens and Witten:rolleyes:

As Cowboy fans we should know first hand that whats on paper doesn't count..Until then, they will still find a way to lose.

That "what's on paper" thing generally applies to our team. We're very much into announcing a Super Bowl victory before playing week one of the regular season. The Eagles haven't exhibited the same behavior...

LOL really??? All I hear from dumb Eagle fans is how they are going to win the superbowl with Boldin/Edwards or Chad..it's pretty annoying.

I'm going to assume they are the same Eagle team with Mcflub being his typical inconsistant self and Chad gets hurt. They have to prove me wrong otherwise. I still wouldn't be scared of them with Chad.

well McNabb is a much better qb than Romo though.

But you're right they probably will still find a way to lose.

This assumes that McNabb stays healthy for the year as well.

Last year may have been the abberation.

That is your opinion, cool?

How long has McChoke been a starter? How long has Romo been a starter?

And my opnion is that Romo will prove to be better by the time he spends playing as much as McPuke. But, keep dogging Romo...no big deal.

i'm not dogging Romo. McNabb is a very good qb but gets dismissed on this site cause he hasn't won a superbowl. Mcnabb has never and will never have the weapons Tony has. you can be a homer all you want but McNabb is the better qb.

There's not a big enough gap between Romo and McNabb to declare anyone who suggests Romo might be better than McNabb a Homer. Now if they suggested he was better than Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, then you can throw the Homer tag in there, but for McNabb. I don't think so.

Pffffffftt........

When Tony Wins a playoff game , then you can say that the gap has shrunk a bit from Tony and McFlubb. #5 won with Fred-Ex... Tony couldn't with 3 All Pros catching the ball.

Being called a homer for disregarding those facts are warranted.

.

Not for the last 41 games, he hasn't.

As a matter of fact, nobody in the NFC East has been better than Romo since Romo started his first game.

Nobody.

Owens was only with him for 1 season. he helped get his team to 3 straight nfc champiomships before Owens got there and won the 4th won without me-o. everything is not about stats.

does that count playoff games? once again everything is not about passer rating and individual stats.

Tony Romo:
41 career games as a starter ( including playoffs ):
27 wins, 14 losses
10,563 yards, 63.6 % completion, 83 TDs, 47 ints.

The closest QB in the NFC East to those numbers over the last 41 games ( including playoffs and SB ) as a starter is Eli Manning:

Eli Manning
27 wins, 14 losses
8,215 yards, 55.9% completion, 54 TDs, 36 ints

McNabb is a DISTANT third..
