Would this board do it for a 2nd-rounder? We certainly aren't trading one of our linemen. (Well, they can have Looney.)
Why?Now this is a rumor that I can get on board with. I'd be willing to go as high as a 3rd round pick. $8 mil cap hit (assuming I'm looking at it right) isn't terrible. At 30, he still has a couple years of good productivity left. Immediate upgrade to the outside pass rush. I hope this is true.
I wouldn't even do a 3
He's 34
I might not even do 4
Then you would have no trade.
Wake would have limited shelf life but I think you can expect him to be productive this season and next season. Pass rush is a premium commodity and there will be other bidders if Miami has him for trade.
Miami probably isn't even that motivated to trade him since they aren't completely out of it.
per Albert Breer, Cowboys have $2.9M in available cap space and can free up an additional $1.9 if Rolando is cut. Doesn't sound like a ton of $$ but I'm sure there are other moves that could be made to sign the right player depending on value.Hes old, expensive, coming off an ACL injury, and ineffective this year. Should be close to free
Uh! that's the same time...3pm CDT equal 4pm EDT, right?
I doubt the Cowboys would do it for a 4. He's a late round pick at his age and productivity.I wouldn't even do a 3

I won't be at my PC but I hope we have a new DL player this afternoon.
I just don't see Stephen giving up draft pics For a 34 year d lineman. Already no 5th rounder, and if they mess around and keep winning we.re gonna be picking in the bottom couple of spots.
I like Wake.
But a 2nd rounder for him would have me breaking my keyboard.
