Yeah, but a bad year from Dak and that $30M a year deal he refused becomes $25M a year or less next year.No the cap goes up every year.

Buff guy speaks! That is great news!
Yes, let’s wait and see what Mahomes will get.
I’m hearing from Prescott camp that Dak has set his mind on a prove it type year. He states “I’m gonna bet on myself” aka he wants to take on the risks to prove all his doubters wrong & show Cowboys that he earned the new contract.
His last wish before the season is media to stop asking contracts question until this upcoming season is over.
Thank you ,
Dak

True... true, but I'm saying if he has a very good season and the 'Boys don't get to the Big Game...Maybe, but I expect some clarification on Dak this season. Zeke or not he will be in a prime position to succeed. He may even have the opportunity to put to bed the talk of Zeke making him. If hes only mediocre it appears we will have a fairly deep FA QB class in 2020 so he might not be able to push a large offer to the table. We could easily pivot to Winston (just an example) or some other comparable QB for less money.
If he has a great year and we lose another WC game. lolTrue... true, but I'm saying if he has a very good season and the 'Boys don't get to the Big Game...
HO-BOY!!!
GadSource?
Thats more ridiculous than comparing Dak to Russ Wilson.
So where is the actual quote of Dak or his agent saying this ? I assume it doesn’t exist .. just some unnamed sources and rumors..
Exactly where I'm going. If he has a great year and we lose another WC game. lol
On a different team.Yeah, but a bad year from Dak and that $30M a year deal he refused becomes $25M a year or less next year.
Great plan. Win the Super Bowl this year. Then another team pays him 40 mil. Then we start Mike White. Then we get Trevor Lawrence!
Ahh poifect. Credible now!
Oh of course! It's not like anyone here to beat a dead horse into the ground so hard, it leaves hoof prints in China. So we've seen the last of the Dak contract threads til 20/20 , right
Why go that route when we can tag and trade him for a late 1st to Pittsburgh or LA Chargers or Saints or something?Good...Look forward to the Cowboys drafting his replacement in 2020.
I'll gladly take a 3rd round compensetory draft pick..
