The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants are again facing off to begin the season.

While the world awaits the official 2017 regular season schedule release, it appears leaks are beginning to form in the leagues' boat. On Thursday, just hours before the formal announcement, it's being reported the two teams will again meet at AT&T Stadium to kick the season off on Sunday Night Football.

How much do you want to bet that we will again have to do the Sunday -Thursday-Thursday thing again? No team should ever have to play 3 games in 12 days and I'll bet they make us do it again this year. It is a recipe for serious injury and a downward slope heading towards the playoffs.

I know we won those games last year but it is a terrible idea by the NFL who says the are concerned about player safety.

It's bad enough that we have to play the extra preseason game, but it will be a wonder if we are not decimated by injury by December.
