It became public when TZ called out La'el and his agent on Twitter, for not getting paid. Supposedly, it was a misunderstanding and La'el thought that all he had to do is buy her dinner. When that was straightened out, she was supposed to get paid her $400 the following week. but of course that never happened and that's when she called out his agent. This whole story, of course is her version of events and most likely totally fabricated.

I understood that she made it public but what amazes me is that she chooses to advertise the fact that she is doing something highly illegal and expecting restitution as if it weren't. It'll only tend to make the authorities that much more vigilant about taking her down. I do agree that it's anyone's guess if there's any credibility behind what she says. If it's true, perhaps it'll serve as a wakeup call to La'el not to get involved with that element.
Anyhow, if it's so, I guess you could say he "stiffed her" in more ways than one -- lol.
