Not sure if already reported... Heard it about 20 minutes ago on an OKC sports station.

He's an idiot, but as a UFA I guess it can't hurt too much.

The "Classic" boom-or-bust (even though he wasn't drafted). I mean, this kid LITERALLY as the skills to be TO Jr. Not to mention, he's built just like him.

Is this confirmed?

If so we signed another bonehead.

A talented bonehead, but a bonehead nontheless.

At one point, this guy was considered the best receiver in this class.

I think many of us here expected this. Good. I'm curious to see what this kid can do in camp.

He's not nearly as fast as TO

I read somewhere that his knee still isn't 100% from the injury late in the year. Plus, he needs to probably drop 10 lbs.

With him and the kid from Tech, it sounds like they may be trying to churn the bottom of the roster with some fresh faces.

Great assessment. He has some character issues as well as an eye problem. He had Lasik surgery to correct it, but Drew Boylhart (thehuddlereport.com) believes that Bowman is still having eye issues, which is why he battles the ball sometimes. However, Drew felt that Bowman has unlimited potential and could be an impact player once his eyes are checked out, and corrected, and once he gets his personal issues in check. This kid is built just like TO, and plays like him as well. This is a no risk pick up that could turn into a gem. Great, Great, Great move!

I was hoping we would get him in the UDFA market.

Remember, T.O. wasn't all that fast coming out of college either (did'nt somebody on here have an article about 40 times and it mentions T.O.'s times - like 4.65 or something). All I know is that he embarrased the 20th Pick in the '08 Draft (Talib) to the tune of 13 catches for 300 yards in his Jr. year. Yes, the same Aqib Talib that so many people wanted in Dallas.

Hot damn. Through about 3/4 of the season this guy was considered a 1st round talent.

He had 1000+ yards and 17 YPC in his last two season. He caught over 60% of the passes targeted at him, so he can catch. The guy just had a terrible Senior Bowl week. I think it's absurd to let one week of practice wipe out two amazingly productive years in college.

Great signing.

I think he's recovered from the knee injury. He missed most of the year because he tried to catch a screen pass and Talib tackled him at his knees while Bowman was focused on catching the ball. Bowman never saw it coming, so he couldn't prepare for the hit. That hit made him a FA instead of a 2nd rd pick. IMO.

I would love to see him get serious about playing football for a living.

Quit with all the pot smoking and dumb decision making, lose weight and get himself in great shape and hit the jugs machine for 30 minutes everyday after practice.
He could actually be a good WR in the NFL one day. It's all up to him. Maybe TO will take him under his wing and show him how to prepare for the game.(I know it's pretty bad when you have to look to TO as a role model. )

We spent a pick on Bryant. Bowman is a FA, so there's no real investment. You're comparing apples to oranges.
