Yea, just like MNabb didn't get them to the superbowl with TO?And he did it faster then Romo.
McNabb got the Eagles to the Super Bowl in his fifth year as a full time starter. Romo has had only one year as a full time starter.

Who gives a damn what routes he runs 90% of the time?

If he came here and scored half the TDs he scored last year I don't care if they are the result of slants or streaks. Production is production.
I give a damn. Quit focusing solely on his home run ability and realize you have to move the chains to get in a position to get TDs. Moss isnt known as a chain mover who can work the slot.

Well if he is catching a 100 balls a year and 90 of them are deep balls we need to sign this guy.

You're exagerating bigtime.

we have witten and crayton for that...we can also line up TO in the slot - he is deadly there. as much as i dislike Moss, i would rather see him here than in philthy.

Who's exaggerating?? He doesnt have a rep of being scared to go to the middle for no reason. Even his #1 groupie, Cris Carter said himself. "Most receivers dont like to go over the middle. Randy REALLY doesnt like going over the middle." You look at the SB itself. He didnt start getting catches til that last TD drive when he started running slants and getting popped by safeties and LBers. It's good he's willing to when the game's on the line, but its ashame he cant do it the rest of the time.

Who said I dont want him here? My post had nothing to do with that.

What did I say?? YOUR opinion. Quit trying to shove it down someone else's throat cause he doesnt want to sniff his jock strap like you and is willing to point out his weaknesses.

Can TO do that?

Can Witten do that?

Deep threats are deep threats.

Moss will go over the middle too, I saw him do it quite a few times this last year. Players are usually remembered for what they do best.....Moss can run faster than everyone and go get the football. Therefore, he is labeled a deep threat.

quit getting all defensive when i say he's the best wr in the game. i'm not the only one who thinks it. if he came here he wouldn't have to go over the middle that often with owens, witten, and crayton anyways

I never said otherwise. The topic was never about Moss fitting in Dallas. It was about Moss compared to other elite receivers and what parts of the field they cover.

I am still waiting on the explanation of why you want him to go to the Eagles.

Sorry I just signed back on.

My reasons are

A. I hate him. Which is you know useless to anyone but me.

B. I dont think signing a wr or trading for one means instant superbowl.

C. I would love to beat him on that team.

D. I would love all the attention to shift back to philly and make us an underdog again. We are horrible as a favorite team.

E. I hate him. Just Like I am not a fan of owens. I am assuming owens will be gone in two years, so I would hate it if moss were to be here for those two and then more.

F. THere is no doubt something ******** would happen with owens and romo and I think it would not benefit Romo. There is only one ball. We already have two legitimate 1s in owens and witten. We need a young complimentary guy who can take reverses and make big plays out of those short and intermediate throws romo excels at.

Now in a perfect world he would end up somewhere like jax so we dont have to see him. IF he were to land in Philly I would believe they are favorites and as much as I fear the eagles already I would be even more fearful. Yet I would love to have our team be the underdog and have to always be trying to get better, unlike this year where they lost their edge.

and the thing philly is missing is a big time playmaking wr and obviously moss is that but I still dont care I would love our team the chance to beat him two times a year. Philly is a contender already and they are already a thorn in our side.

I would fear our safeties having to worry about brown, moss and westbrook obviously, but maybe it will trigger us to really improve the secondary.

anyway go ahead and flame away. I hate the guy and for me the worst case for us is him coming here above else. I do not want to root for his scumbag behind and I dont want this team which his already under the microscope being even more bothered with the media, particularly the national media.

so flame away.

Ok but this is the thing.

He still does it. Your acting like he never does it and you are wrong.

Hes not catching 98 deep routes a season. Ok?

You have a pretty lame way of thinking.

He does it when he has to. Not when he wants to. There's a difference.

How is that?

We went 13-3 and lost to the team who went on to win the Superbowl.

We weren't the only "favorites" to lose.

you might want to check our track record the last 3 years.

We play strong until thanksgiving give a week or two and then the sense of accomplishment sets in.

The last two seasons we were favorited over a number of teams when we were playing well and found ways to look listless and a step behind and get beat.

Yet when we are doubted the team goes out and plays great, not always winning but always giving that great effort.

Just like this season. We finish the season with 3 losses in the division, two of them at home as a favorite. The team IMO just does not respond well to that atmosphere and hasnt since this group has really been together since 05.
