Roy Williams is not going anywhere.
Put me in the minority, but I would not even be suprised if he finished his career in Dallas.

I guess that would be just me, huh?Big Dakota;2100071 said:Anyone who wouldn't trade Dallas burnt toast for Detroit prime rib is an idiot.

I just don't share the prevailing winds theory about how good he is because I think many are over reacting. I do not think our Defense would improve if he were gone because we do not have a viable alternative. In fact I think we would regress.Sarge;2100365 said:Hos - you seriously wouldn't trade our Roy for their Roy???
I am really shocked at that - seriously.
I'd do it in a NY minute.
IMO/FWIW...

I also expect a him to have a great year this year and a lot of people to eat crow. That is just my opinion, I respect opposing views on it, but reserve the right to make up my own mind. If I'm wrong, well I guess that just means less crow will be served.
I certainly wouldn't give up him and a double digit (albeit one year only) sack producer for a #2 WR. Even if I do like that WR a lot and have a lot of hope invested in his coming here.
I too am concerned with the WR Corps. A lot. I believe age and injuries are the 2 factors that sunk us last year more than any other reason. It's why I sunk so much effort into the hope we would acquire Roy Williams. Otherwise I'd have kept it to myself because I know how badly people over react to speculation, even if it is inside.Sarge;2100394 said:I look at it from a little different perspective. I don't particularly have a large amount of faith in our WR corps. It's a real concern I have. I know you can't go into the season worrying about injuries but if TO goes down.....
I also have less faith in our Roy than you do. I think he's somewhat of a headcase..I think he'll improve - he better . . I just think in general terms, a SS is a lot easier to replace than a quality WR. I'll gladly eat crow though......
I do respect your opinion though even if it is completely wrong.
