I’m not arguing the other side - just asking. But if you get bounced again before the ncfcg, you just stick w the status quo? How do you expect to get over the hump ?
Hire a GM who makes moves at the deadline at obvious positions of need.

You can’t fire a coach for three consecutive 11 win seasons. No coach would come here after that. There’s no harm in losing to the 49ers who are more talented. Want to beat the 49ers? Acquire more talent. That’s on the GM.
This is the right answer, but the GM is also a malignant narcissist who can never be wrong about anything.

MM will not be fired regardless of how this season ends up.
IMO he has demonstrated he can help Dak be more effective.

Schefter is a ****** trying to create a narrative to disrupt our team. He’s the CNN of sports reporting. Lol!

When the problem is the GM, what choice do you have?

Even that I don’t think gets him fired. Removing a HC after 11-6 and a playoff appearance is not a good precedent, unless you’re routinely in SBs and took a huge step back due to his behavior, which isn’t what’s happening
Well jerry isnt like other gm's or owners, so no telling what he might do.
I think mike is in trouble if he doesnt win in the div round.

As for hiring dan quinn I dont know about that because of what quinn said about wanting to go back to seattle if offered the HC job.
So quinn might not be an option. and he might not even be our DC, think about that.

May the Cowboys be afforded the courtesy of actually playing for an improbable division title tomorrow afternoon, before the hounds & jackals come out, calling for firings and such?

Best to enjoy prosperity during its infrequent visits to the Metroplex.

ESPN has long had a tendency to convey somewhat of a pessimistic view of the world surrounding the Dallas Cowboys. Some things never change. It's no secret that Jerry wants to get the most out of MM that he can. That quite likely includes a successful playoff run this season. Whether the Cowboys' management is satisfied with McCarthy's performance and that of the team may very well tend to affect his future with them.

It says... some people say ..... no truth to this nor anything to substantiate it.

If Eagles lose to NY and are one and done, does that means Sirianni could et fired too. No one seems to want to talk about that.
You should hear Philly sports talk radio. Or any of their sports talk in general. Some want him out before they play the Giants.

Yeah no way. MM has this team playing the best it has in years, and his QB seems to love him.

I mean I guess he could get fired if Dak hated him, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all.

If this team limps into the playoffs (say lose today) and then they get bounced early yet again from the playoffs, why wouldn’t you entertain a coaching change?
