Sure.

Zeke only making 3.8 million in 2019.

He can roll that into his new deal.

Doesn't hurt Zeke to sit.

Hurts Dallas when they lose games.

No game has been played yet and you are counting them as L's already? Seems a bit presumptuous.

What new deal? Let him sit! Period. He doesn't get paid in Cabo. He doesn't get paid sitting. He doesn't get traded.
He can't go anywhere else because he's under contract. He wants to sit so let him sit. All year.

The problem is that he can come in by week 11 and get credit for the entire year. He can give less than maximum effort or claim an injury thus sabotaging the entire season yet still get a year towards free agency. Does anyone want to go through two years of that constant distraction? You either want him for the next 4-6 years or you want that money to spread around to others. Make that decision and either get him signed or trade him and move on.

Spotrac. Com

Click salary

Select 2019

Scroll all the way down. Zeke was #433 last week.

You realize, this is not accurate right? It's also not the link, which is what you were asked for.

If you look at this link, it tells you what he is actually making this year, based on the Salary Cap.

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/dallas-cowboys/ezekiel-elliott-18952/

If you look at the 2019 cap hit, that is what he is getting paid for playing in 2019. It's not 3.8 mil, it's just a shade under 8 mil this year. You can't just listen to the BS you hear or read. You have to actually check it out.

Choose base salary. Not cap.

Cap is for the team.

Base is what Zeke gets paid in 2019.

400+ NFL players make more $$$ than Zeke this season.

With all this mess... I'm just seeing that a Zeke trade has more probability .

With each passing minute , I see Zeke wearing another uniform . (Hope i'm wrong)

Walk away Jerry, and stop negotiating. He will either come back for this year to count, or he will just sit the whole season and basically not play another down in his life. I am sure he will pick the first choice without a doubt.

Why? Cap is what he is making against the cap. It means that he has already been paid in advance for the work he is supposed to be doing right now. It means that he has been paid for the job that he is not doing. What is going on here is that you don't want to recognize that fact. The numbers you are using are wrong. The team is paying him, almost 8 million this year, of which, 4 million were paid out in advance. That's the truth of it. I mean, come on, you can not not get this.

Unbelievable.. Hold the team hostage haggling over a couple million dollars knowing very well we have other to pay. Making all that damn money playing a game.

Goodbye and good riddance sir
Take the $ from Dak's top 5 QB contract offer. Dak is probably not a top 10 QB.

If he comes in and plays like trash while being a distraction he will hurt his own value. That won't happen.

I’m not as much worried about that as the fake lingering hamstring tightness similar to what Ratliff did. Claimed he was hurt and wouldn’t let the Dallas training staff near him. Said he was likely done for the year and once released was playing for the Bears 1 week later.

The base is irrelevant. In an NFL contract, to see what the player actually makes, you must take an average, including signing bonus. The signing bonus is part of his salary.
