IMO, Igor Olshansky was the weakest link in the rotation against the run.
Against San Diego, the first team line of Spears, Ratliff and Coleman held up well against the run, but the Chargers started to gash us when we put in Lissemore, Brent and Olshansky, primarily because Igor was getting pushed around.
Then against Minnesota, Olshansky was back with the starters with Spears out injured and Adrian Peterson ran rampant.
I'm not saying all of the run-stopping problems end with Igor, but I do think we are much better off with someone like Lissemore absorbing his playing time.
Olshansky needs to get back with Wade Phillips, where he can play one-gap instead of two-gap 3-4, because he relies on his strength instead of good technique and is just too easy for two linemen to get under and carry downfield. (Often it's too easy for one lineman to do that.)
