Yeah, I don't get the obsession with Dunbar. You're lucky to get six games out of him a season and he hasn't even been that great this year. McFadden would be an upgrade as a third down back.

And Whitehead can do anything Dunbar does that is not already replicated by EZE.

Number's game. McFadden said he was ready to practice before the start of the season. I think Dallas strategically placed him on the list just for insurance.

Where does anyone seen that he was brought back? It's not on DC.com.

Except he still doesn't have full range in that arm, he's recently said so himself. Yet he still insists he's been ready since week one.

What's it going to be then, eh?

Reliable is not a label I would put on the guy who just spent 17 weeks out with a broke elbow
Did I ever state McFadden was reliable? I take the player that is more talented, thanks.

It's nice to have depth.

I'd still dangle him in front of Minny though and see if we can't get a developmental guy on defense, maybe.

wait a minute, I've read here that a reliable vet doesn't lose his job due to injury. So McFadden should just walk into his RB slot and put Zeke on the bench.

He probably will never have full range of motion in that arm. It doesn't affect his ability to play football. It's a non factor.

McFadden must be wondering what it takes to get a little love around here...:)

Learning to run in our zone blocking system so they don't need to switch schemes when he is in would be a solid start. Learning to play special teams since he will be the 3rd back wouldn't hurt either.

Wonder who'll break the news to him that he's not wanted/needed here anymore. Appreciate what he did last year but I love our 1-2 punch with Zeke and Morris. Plus we'll have Dunbar back soon. Ideally we trade him for a defensive lineman but I have a feeling that doesn't happen and he either rides our bench or we release him.

I would rather have him play Dunbar's role than Dunbar.

McFadden can do whatever Dunbar can do plus more.

Dunbar has more quicks than DMac. He can do things DMac can't and vice versa. They are not the same kind of back. Dunbar is able to line up outside and I don't remember DMac do doing that. He is not a receiver.

I agree Morris is a better younger option, I's say trade him and see what we can get, anything from a 4th rounder and up is a blessing. Anything below that hold on to him for insurance.

At least with DMC in the defense can't cheat. Dunbar is like a sign to the opponents that they can cut their defensive playbook in half. The only real purpose Dunbar serves is in must pass situations. Waste of a roster spot as the team is currently constructed.

Zeke was the starting RB as soon as the draft card was turned in. How is that even close to what you're talking about?
