Run game and Run defense

Ok, I see the usual posters out there thinking this year is gonna be different. They're also same ones who say Dallas had an early playoff exit because of lack of run game and run defense.

My question is what did we do to improve the run game? Zeke averaged 3.5 ypc last season, Tyron Smith was second team all pro, I doubt Guyton matches that. Beebes we all hope to be an upgrade, but still a position he has never played.

Run defense, Dlaw is our only proven run stopper. Mazi, Kneeland, Williams are just a situation where we cross our fingers and hope they work out.
Parsons is our best linebacker, Kendricks is on a one year deal. Overshown , Clark, and Liufau are another hope and prayer situation.

So again, how did we improve those weaknesses that y'all say was the reason for the early playoff exit?
They drafted 2 starting offensive linemen. Linebacker is improved.

The cowboys will be average running and defending the run. They will look ok against finess and bad teams but good teams will expose them again.

So you expect no dropoff from Smith to Guyton? And you think a back that had 3.5 ypc will be better than Pollard was last season?

And what are you basing off that LB has improved?

At linebacker they added Overshown, Kindricks, and Marist. I think Beebe is better than Tyler Biadasz and I expect big things from Guyton and Zeke. You should go watch Zeke's highlights from last season. I'll guess that Zeke will have more tds than Pollard had last season.

It's still a bit premature to make an accurate guess as to what to expect from the running offense in 2024. Will a more prolific RB be added to the present roster in the days and week to come? That's anyone's guess, at best. If another qualified RB is acquired, it might easily improve.

Aside from that the run defense may be fortified with a more experienced Mazi, for whatever advantage that might offer. Exactly how effective Kneeland may turn out to be is yet another question to be answered. I'll venture a wild guess that it'll be about the same or slightly better.

And that's w/ you missing the big one. We don't have a starting quality DT on the roster.

They are only starters because there are no better offensive linemen on the team. Neither would start on most NFL teams. They drafted 2 offensive linemen that are going to have to start is more accurate.

Why would i need to watch Zeke highlights from last year? Lol literally seen him play for us the year before and average 3.7 ypc.

Again, do you not expect a dropoff from Smith to Guyton?
Two of those linebackers you mentioned have done nothing in this league

Neither can save our inept passing game when it continually gifts points in the playoffs.
Not the Defense or Walter Payton, Jim Brown etc etc.
It is what it is and it ain't changing!!!

Believe what you want.

No, it is obvious your mind is made up.
Nope,i asked you legit questions and nothing logical ever comes from you. You literally said " watch Zekes highlights from last season " lol a highlight reel from a guy who averaged 3.5 ypc. Anyone who says something like that is not to be taken seriously
