We all know the Giants strength is rushing the passer. The Cowboys strength is our big OL going downhill - so what do we need to do Sunday...Run..Run..Run.

Easy game plan.

I would argue that our OLine's strength is pass blocking, not run blocking.

The last few seasons the Giants are very prone to getting burned by big running plays. Catch them on an all out blitz and it can be 6.

Not only that, but we need to have plenty of short to mid-level underneath stuff to check down. I would have some plays with:

- Witten running the seam
- Bennett running a mid-level drag route, 7-10 yards downfield
- Felix/Barber/Choice running a short curl or drag route 3-6 yards downfield

If they blitz, the safeties will have to cover WRs or Witten, which leaves Bennett and our RBs open underneath for a catch and run for certainly a first down.

I'm not a professional coach by any stretch of the imagination, but it seems like this kind of stuff would work pretty well against a team like the Giants that likes to send the house plus the kitchen sink on passing downs.

couldn't agree more casmith. keep it short and simple and depend on our athletes to pick up some YAC. Then, when they pull eight or nine in the box: go up top. It can be done for sure. I think alot of moves we've made: namely Felix and Marty B. have come about so we can finally beat the Gspots and Iggles incessant, constant f'iing blitzes. Obviously its all for naught if we get our butts beat at the line of scrimmage.........we'll see....................

Felix should have a monster game on screens if the Gints only think about getting to the QB.

Choice got some huge gains of that last season against them so i'm fairly sure they'll be prepared for that this time, specially if Jones is in the game

Speaking of running. Anyone notice 2:17 of the 1st Quarter, they have Colombo lined up next to Flozel and Witten next to Davis.

I agree... Dallas needs to pound the rock Sunday just like they did starting out against the Bucs Sunday.

Are you sure? If so Jadon is really thinking outside the box

Yea, go look at the play. Kindof caught me off guard when i saw it. The run play then ran to that overloaded side for a decent gain.

In the NFL, winning is almost always determined by which team passes more effectively. So whether Romo throws it 10 times or 50, it almost certainly will come down to which team's passing game performs better.

I disagree, Romo knows how to beat the Giants through the air. Let's save all that running for December.

Whether they prepared or not doesn't matter. The screen is designed to slow down the pass rush. They can stop screens, or get to Romo. I don't care either way.

I disagree with that. Our strength is getting ahead early in the passing game, and then run the ball.

We're not a smashmouth offensive line, even though everything points to yes.

I call it tackle over or unbalanced its good to do see how defense of front will adjust to it , alot of high school teams do it but I dont see it much at this level, it was cool to see garrett do it

The Ravens used it against us last year with some success.

I think we are more successful when we pass to set up the run.

Dallas best weapon in my view is to try and remain balanced in their attack, if you do that then the defense remains unsure of what is coming.
