In the NFL, winning is almost always determined by which team passes more effectively. So whether Romo throws it 10 times or 50, it almost certainly will come down to which team's passing game performs better.

Last year, passing yards per game, the Vikings were 25, the Titans 27 and the Ravens 28th.

The Cowboys were #9.

I don't think there is any doubt, this game we'll try to jump ahead early utilizing the pass. Then if that does work, then we'll run the ball heavily.....

I think the Boys have to mix it up and keep it balanced. You can't let the Giants defense tee off all day on passing plays. You have to make the Giants defense respect the run. If Red has one fault, it seems to be that he gets too pass happy. I think our OL would have more confidence if they were allowed to run block more often.

Screen passes would be great --but Dallas has never learned how to run one

I agree. To establish a run mindset you need to run it. One thing you do not want to do with any top rank defense is to become 1 dimensional in your attack so as you said mixing it up is key.

Dallas ran alot of screens and short passes during the pre-season which was the reason so many were hollering Dallas did not have the ability to go deep and would be a dink and dunk team. So Dallas did put a lot of work in with the short passing attack and showed this past sunday they still have the ability to play long ball.

Agreed. I think the Boys have made good progress in running screen plays. Years ago, not so much.

Made progress yes --I still think it is a weak spot and has been for years. Hope I am wrong ---Felix and a good screen would be 6
