Happy for you! I'm more meh due to long term success outlook, but as East is saying JJ could mess that up anyway.

For the coaches it helps their record, I think the players are realistic and day to day. They may not even be on this team next season, yet alone worrying about a winning culture in future seasons. One thing I'll admit that is a little backwards, they were intentionally trying to lose to us (generally), but we're celebrating it. Draft slot aside, I'm not overly proud of that as a W to feel good aboutt, etc. or something to point to in the future to establish something meaningful like you're referencing for future seasons. If we beat PIT, that's the game you use, etc.
More like, they gave us a W and we didn't give it back to them in some awkward tanking hot potato.

No player on that field today was thinking “oh, I need to put girth minimal effort so we can lise and improve our draft position (or if any were, you don’t want them on your team).” Same for coaches. The players and coaches have one thing in mind - just win baby. Having a higher draft position assures nothing. New England hasn’t picked in the top half of the draft in 2 decades and it didn’t inhibit them. Similar can be said for Pittsburgh.

The players and coaches have one thing in mind - just win baby. Having a higher draft position assures nothing. New England hasn’t picked in the top half of the draft in 2 decades and it didn’t inhibit them. Similar can be said for Pittsburgh.

I hear you, we tend to well in that mid round range as well, but was thinking also out of the first. It's a great way to work the phones during the night with how the draft is chopped up now. It's really no big sweat tbh, I just was more joking someone had to W here, so for us to gloat about it seems a little much. This season has brought minimal happiness for us fans, so I'm not helping being debbie downer either. "Just shut up and sit down somewhere" I'll find a seat lol

We beat one of the few teams worse than us and you are ready to make a playoff charge.

Despite what you saw today against the 2-10-1 Bengals, this team is a train wreck.

Yep on the mid-round. Our Achilles Heel is the 2nd round, especially recently and in the first 10. The Wildcatter can’t help himself with high risk, potential high reward cases.

The only enjoyment to be had this year is winning games.
