Running Back Issue Solved

Coogi, Yes, they need to draft a RB in the draft because Pollard is heading into a contract year, and Zeke will be cut in 2023 off-season. Best part is this class has some who can play.

If we re-sign our guys and don’t have many holes, I’m definitely ok with spending a 3rd on him

He won’t make it out 2nd round which in reality is too high for Dallas given the needs at OLine & DLine . People think you can get a chain stretching RB late in a draft or UDFA or the unemployment line . Don’t think so . I ask Davontae Booker what’s it take to sign you . The Giants cut him .

Yes, he played pretty well when I saw him on the field. The Cowboys have far more pressing needs and problems than RB imho. And I'm not suggesting he'll replace Zeke, I'm just suggesting they not draft a RB over the other needs this year
Wow!!!

2022 is supposed to be strong middle rounds RB draft. We should hedge our bet for 2023.
No doubt
We really need to consider a RB and the best thing about the position is solid prospects can be had in middle rounds and sometimes even late rounds
I wouldn’t reach but all things being fairly equal I’d take a RB over most positions past the 3rd because the odds of getting a RB there who can contribute is higher than most any position at that point in the draft
LB is another position the quality can be had in middle rounds

Hassan Haskins in the 5th, Dameon Pierce (sp?) from FL in the 3rd or 4th (I'd only draft a rb in the 3rd if they plan on giving him significant carries immediately), Allegier or Bam Knight (if they drop) in the 4th,

Later rds: Tyler Goodson, Ty Chandler, Devonte Price

One of the top priorities should be, imo, to get the running game back on track. Our record, Dak's performance, the performance of the offense as a whole is clearly at their best when the run game is going dating back to 2016. I know the running back is only part of it, but adding another weapon here wouldn't hurt. Also, as others have mentioned here, Zeke could be cut in 23 and Pollard is a free agent. I think it makes a ton of sense to add some talent, spread out the carries to keep Zeke fresh, and get a young guy some experience in prep for a larger role in 2023.

Unfortunately, if they're not giving Pollard enough carries I don't have a ton of confidence that they'll take advantage of a third guy.
