looooooooooooooooooooooooolHe runs with flippers on.
That's what good secks sounds like.He runs with flippers on.
Gawdawmighty did they argue. This team thinking Pollard was a number one was the down fall, now there were fans on the board thinking the same also. Now thru 5 games he is not.
by week 8 or 9 look for our rb's to be getting 150+It was a poor plan to go into the season having Pollard as RB1. It was destined to fail from the start.
How do you figure?by week 8 or 9 look for our rb's to be getting 150+
I have seen both pollard and rico look very good running and catching. They both look healthy and fast. How do you figure?
We playing the Giants in both those weeks?????I have seen both pollard and rico look very good passing and catching. They both look healthy and fast.
They will figure it out
Sorry, i read what i typed and changed my message. We playing the Giants in both those weeks?????
don't forget that the oline has been injured, and they are doing something different as an offenseI was highly critical of the team for not addressing the RB position in the draft but....
An effective downfield passing attack forces defenses to back-off, and spread out.
This simplified Dak friendly offense lacks this critical capability. The dumbed down offense focuses on running and the short passing game, but lacks the long passing game.
It's like playing Rock Paper Scissors, but only having "Rock" and "Paper" as options. This makes it tough for the RB.

There are literally no holes or gaps. The team can’t run the ball and mostly can’t stop the opposing team from running.
That’s a bad combination. They need to trade for an NFL type back. One that can run up the middle.
If they don’t find a RB, it’s going to be tough sledding going forward.
Whatever the issue is they can’t run the ball. There are literally no holes or gaps.
And McCarthy is so predictable. Pretty much runs it every single time on first down.
Pollard isn't the issue.
Agree, Pollard was hoisted as the man last year, but in defense of Pollard now and Zeke prior.......OL needs some DAWGS and we don't have 'em, as a unit. This team thinking Pollard was a number one was the down fall, now there were fans on the board thinking the same also. Now thru 5 games he is not.
He’s lost a step or three. It is a little surprising the Cowboys did not run the ball better the last few games, especially with all of their OL back last week. But they are 11th in the league in Rushing and averaging about 4.0 yards per carry. I think the running game will improve with the starting OL working together more.
But Pollard does look a step slower this year. Its the difference between a 50 yard TD run and a 23 yard run. Maybe the injury has hurt his speed.
I think Dowdle looks quicker and stronger on the runs up the middle. I also think he should have been getting more carries against SF on more runs between the tackles. Running outside on SF is really hard to do because of their two LBs. Dallas should have done to them what they did to Parsons. Run at them and take away their speed. I'd rather get 4 yards up the middle than 0 or -1 running outside.
I don't think the Cowboys run defense was that awful against SF. Compared to Arizona it was much improved. I think the pass defense was much worse. Letting Kittle loose for 3 TD and allowing multiple chunk plays was inexcusable.
Pollard does appear he’s lost a step pre injury but I really don’t see a lot of running lanes out thereBeing the starting RB on a team that wants to run a lot and for tough yards is s mindset thing that a complimentary back like Pollard just does not have.
