run/pass ratio of last years two super bowl teams:

Arizona 658 pass plays, 340 rushes= 64.1% pass
Pittsburgh 555 pass plays, 460 rushes= 54.7% pass

run/pass of 2007 super bowl teams:

New York 572 passes, 469 rushes= 55%
New England 607 passes, 451 rushes= 57.4%

2006 super bowl teams:
Chicago 539 pass, 503 rush= 51.7% pass
Indy 572 pass, 439 rush= 56.6% pass


Dallas 2009 57.7% pass plays

PLEASE LOOK AT THESE STATS ABOVE YOu...THIS IS TODAYS NFL...YOU PASS TO WIN THE GAME> YOU RUN TO PRESERVE THE LEAD...A good running game is essnetial but 55%+ passing a game wins you super bowls. and an EFFECTIVE passing game in the playoffs wins super bowls. the giants running game did not win the super bowl.
