I believe Drew is seeing the same thing I stated in the draft zone earlier this week. Which is, R.M. is a bigger version of Julius Jones. He doesn't have the lateral agility to "slide" down the LOS when the hole isn't there. He will be a run into the pile runner just like JJ. I stated in a draft zone thread that if Dallas picks him, we better have OLmen capable of opening holes, because if we don't we'll be seeing the same thing we've seen from JJ the past couple of years. A RB that can't move laterally, and just runs into the pile.

I agree about Mendenhall. From 2-3 games I saw of him, I had the same impression. No Lateral movement or Wiggle.

I had the same impression of Steve Slaton too. Both home run threats, but not too sure how they will do in Next level. I like Stewart, but haven't observed enough to know about his toughness, but liked his ability. A big guy.

Drew is in love with Run DMC, so let's see if a trade with Miami happens.

Yeah, Drew loves him. Drew says the only player that has/had DMac's athletic ability and style is Gale Sayers. He said he's viewed film of Gale, and believes that DMac will have the same type of impact in the NFL. He's predicting that DMac will "fall" to Oakland, or even the Patriots, and neither of these teams want/need him, and neither wants to pick at that high a position in the draft. He says Oakland, which just paid all that money to J.Russell, are hesitant to pay another player top 5 money. He says Oakland and Pats will be so desperate to make a deal, that they may trade the pick for less than its true value.

Chris Johnson in the 2nd works for me.

He won't be there with our #2. But we could trade our 2nd #1, move into the top portion of Rd #2 and grab him, knowing that if someone grabs him we would still be able to get R.Rice as consolation.
