1 against the Bengals last week. 0 against the giants last night.

If it's not there he gets rid of it. Dak too many times holds it and ends up taking drive killing sacks.

Rush played better than anyone could have expected last night. If not for the drops his numbers would look spectacular.

- First off, credit the OL unit,.. one that is playing without Tyron, McGovern, and is getting excellent play out of a rookie that didn't see training camp/preseason time
at LT. per Game 1,
Center Tyler B is playing adequately and Steele has bounced back from a flag filled Bucs game; We're getting by with reserve Farniok, he's been up and down.

- Then the 2nd credit does go to Rush, who sets up quickly, reads and gets rid of the ball quickly .. He still has to " float' thrown balls instead of being able to power drive ball downfield,
But at least those floaters have a chance to get to the receivers.
I was worried that Rush would be one that holds the ball for sacks but he doesn't.

- Kudos to the OC, OL and RBs that add an effective run game that the last two opponents have to respect.

- - Seems like Stephen is gonna have to pay more than what he prefers to for a vet backup QB next offseason.

They said before the game that he is the 2nd fastest QB to get the ball out that's played this season.

That's what happens when you can read a defense.
That's it and everyone benefits the offensive line doesn't have to hold blocks until they are forced to hold the ball comes out because he trusts his receivers and knows where it's going.

With Cooper Rush a lot of the intangibles that Dak possesses in being able to make plays with his legs is unnecessary in Rushes game because he processes faster and gets the ball out.

Getting rid of the ball quick takes the pressure off your Oline. Not only is he not taking sacks, but penalties are down. We don't have a large enough sample to say this is a clear advantage Rush has over Dak, but if Rush can continue to make quick reads and get the ball out holding calls should be rare.

Great points. But how does a quarterback in today's time get into the top ten without knowing how to read a defense??? Im just curious.

Give it up, dude.

You should be happy we're winning instead of acting bitter about it.

Either you can't read or you're a liar because in about 4 different threads, I've given Rush full praise for how he's playing, ive shown full support of Rush staying in there even after Dak gets healthy and have expressed my happiness.

You're just mad because you got called out for your BS and can't explain how a quarterback who's been in the top 10 can't read defenses. Miss me with that weak ****.

You can't put a spin on my support for Rush because its in black and white in many threads here.

If Dak is top 10 then Cooper Rush is top 8.

Well i guess Cooper is top 8. But that still doesn't answer how a top 10 quarterback can make it there without the ability to read defenses.....
Top 10 is subjective and everyone's is different. There is no definitive top 10 list.

For example, Dak is not in my top 10 and his inability to read a defense is a big part of that.

Because of the large number of worthless NFL teams,,, especially in the NFC East.

Large number of worthless teams huh.... thats actually a pretty good one.

Did these teams get worthless when Dak got in the league??? Or have there ever been other quarterbacks in the past that was in the top 10 due to worthless teams?? I ask because I've never heard of quarterbacks benefiting from worthless teams when talks of rankings came up.

That's what happens when you can read a defense.
Or when your average per attempt is pretty low.

Hes not forcing just taking what they give and not turning the ball over and relying on the defense. If dak played like rush has you guys would be crucifying him lol
