The plan has been to get the ball out of his hand quick. He’s not a real mobile QB so we don’t have him running around out there trying to extend plays which can lead to sacks. We have to play a certain style of football with him and so far it’s working because our defense has played well.

1 against the Bengals last week. 0 against the giants last night.

If it's not there he gets rid of it. Dak too many times holds it and ends up taking drive killing sacks.

Rush played better than anyone could have expected last night. If not for the drops his numbers would look spectacular.
He did play better then I thought he got rid of the rockand oline had their best game

Kellen Moore is the perfect coach for Rush. Both don't have a strong arm and rely solely in reading the defense and throwing the ball to where the receivers are going to be.

Dak is lacking that type of passing. He sometimes muscles his passes too much. Thus causing injury to where it would be unwarranted.

More like the whole team. That run D sure didnt stop anyone in the clutch.

Did you expect Dak to run for 50 yards in 24 seconds to win the game?

Did you expect Dak to run for 50 yards in 24 seconds to win the game? LOL

Cherry picking is fun isnt it?
Said the team didn’t play well.I expected 2 shots to the endzone, not 0.But, they still had a chance to win and I’m not talking about the dreadful QB draw. That call still blows my mind. The D kept them in it w/ the pick of Jimmy G & then had another defensive stop to give Dallas the ball back down by 6.Offense turns it over on downs w/ 3 straight incompletions from Dak.Still had a shot, but Dak couldn’t come through when it mattered most.

I mean, your beating a dead horse here. The team couldnt win in the clutch. Obviously, thats why we lost.

Like I said.........Cherry picking is fun.

And when the game is on the line he “shoots lightening bolts from his arse”! For a little levity, Williams (their best player by far) was out, replaced by a career journey man. Their ends were playing in their first game coming back from injury… ones a rookie. Jihad Ward is one of their primary backups! Jihad Ward is one of their primary backups!

Or when your average per attempt is pretty low.

Hes not forcing just taking what they give and not turning the ball over and relying on the defense. If dak played like rush has you guys would be crucifying him lol

you mean like Dak throwing off his back foot into double or triple coverages ?
Are you on Dak's payroll >?
U love to suck his johnson

Dak has truly awful pocket awareness. He doesn't see or sense pressure, and doesn't realize how the pocket is developing and evolving. Dak often takes sacks or makes hurried throws, when a little movement in the pocket would allow him time to make a good throw.

Rush is a true Cowboy, he's not afraid of a hit and he proved that a couple of times last night. Most QB would have tucked the ball away and ran, but Rush stood tall and let go connecting at will! Dakota " TOAD HUNTER" Prescot needs to study Rush's game film................

1. Dak is the better QB from a physical tools perspective. Anyone saying different is deluding themselves and needs more than just glasses.
2. Steve Young gave everyone a great hint on what could be good "teach tape" for Dak. The time to process and decide. I think a lot of Dak's faults start first with:
- He has to be confident with the call and stay out of the audibles. Stay with your coach and trust your teammates.
- Sticking with the call and letting the ball fly early shows confidence. If your tendency is to wait for WR to get separation before the throw you won't do as well in this league. Especially with two's and three's who tend not to have the physical gifts of #1s and consistently get separation. e.g. Amari Cooper.
3. If Dak would quiet his mind I think he could combine the best of both worlds. Confidence in his physical gifts, and confidence in his fellow players to be where they are suppose to be.

A lot of this situation plays out very similar to when Brady took the job away from Bledsoe. Bledsoe had the better arm and more experience. But he developed as a QB who had to trust his eyes before he threw. He threw too late often and was interception prone.

Dak has reveal many a times that he is careful about turnovers. But if he could develop the way Brady did and see the keys a lot earlier and throw the ball before he has to see the separation I think he would find even more success in this league.

Throw your receivers open. Throw the defensive backs into resignation not anticipation.

I just don't understand why you get so upset because I personally don't see Dak the same way you do.

It's weird, dude. You shouldn't care that much about what I think about Dak.

How am I upset by just asking an honest question?

I don't understand why you and many like you get so upset with Dak, Zeke and other players then you result to lies and false accusations.

You don't have to lie and over-exaggerate to get your point across. Then you and a few like you look stupid when someone question why your false statements don't line up with real life FACTS and REALITY. You and those like you get angry when your lies are exposed with truth. Thats why you and those like you run from honest, clear cut questions and in turn, deflect with useless insults or some other BS that has zero to do with answering the question based on logic.

Its hilarious to watch tho, so im not telling you to stop doing that because I do appreciate when hypocrisy is exposed. Its quite entertaining honestly.....

It's very simple folks, which so many of pointed out. This coming from a Dak fan.

Rush doesn't get rattled, Dak does.

Plus, and this is a biggie, all the attention and expectations overall with this team goes down with Rush in and Dak out. Probably not fair to Dak, but it is what it is.

Take care Dak, heal well, but no need to hurry back. C'mon, I cannot be the only one who thinks this way. Cowboys are actually enjoyable to watch when no one expects them to win.

No, that is exactly what a QB should do. Get the ball out within the play design. Keep the defense honest so they can't just key on the run.
It's exactly what he did in 2016. Defenses figured out the coverages & throws he is uncomfortable with & all they do is sit on what is left while focusing on the run.
Rush isn't letting them do that and now we are balanced again. I don't think anyone would be too upset seeing a functioning offense again regardless of who is under center.

The fans of this team just flip flop and move the goalposts because its dak and are still butthurt he took romos job.

This is a worn out & lame excuse. At some point a player has to progress past his rookie version. People didn't start bringing up real concerns until Dak had been in the league a few years and it was obvious he had flaws.

The voices have gotten louder because he has failed to show sustained improvement against better opponents. It's all on Dak. He chose to enter a performance based business. People expect him to perform. He has too often failed.
