Let me start by saying that Rush is not the answer for the future....however, he does see the field better... reads defenses better....is more composed, and is more accurate than Dak.

This was what he had going for him coming into the league. It was his weak arm that kept him from being drafted. Smart players can sometimes overcome arm deficiencies.

Very clean game. He wasn't just driving the bus. He was hitting the gas a little too. He got let down some by his receivers and the officials, but he just kept on pressing on the pedal.

23 points against a Wink Martindale defense isn't bad. Of course, they were without Leonard Williams, but we were without our starting tight end and No. 2 receiver.

The difference in pocket presence is night and day. Rush slides around in the pocket. O-lineman love this. He makes them look better. Pressure doesn’t bother him any. Dak is like a deer in the headlights. Rush hits receivers in stride. Dak is all over the place. Rush reads presnap blitz. Dak is lost! Rush throws receivers open. Dak holds the ball too long and waits for them to get open. Rush may not be the answer but he’s better than Dak…period. If you can’t see this, you are a Dak fan not a Cowboy fan.

Isn't that what Kitna tried to fix on Dak? The time Kitna mentored Dak he improved some on his throws, however he has regressed badly to what he really is. Of the two backups I would keep Rush as starter.

Won't have Dan Quinn running our defense in the near future.

That'll be a major loss.

Kellen Moore stuck with the run and had a good pass and run balance. That was possible because the defense never let us trail more than a TD all game.

What Rush may lack in arm talent and athleticism, he definitely has in composure.

Dude keeps his cool, no matter the situation. That's a big thing with an NFL QB.
