A cerebral QB makes up for a lot of deficiencies. Rush isn’t the second coming of Montana but he knows how to play the game. I do want to see him against a team like the Rams or Philly but I like what I’m seeing so far.

He looks pretty smooth out there, not fazed at all even when he’s under pressure and sees the field well. And he wins games, I’ll take it. I’m sure we’re all happy that he’s doing good since we’re all Cowboys fans and not fans of only one player. Right?

Playing within himself, decisive and taking shots downfield when he needs to.

Very impressive.

Won't have Dan Quinn running our defense in the near future.

That'll be a major loss.

Kellen Moore stuck with the run and had a good pass and run balance. That was possible because the defense never let us trail more than a TD all game.
Isn’t it amazing how a decent QB makes an OC look better.

He’s very poised and composed. You see it during the presnap. Sometimes it seem with all the audibles and yelling that Dak gets flustered during the presnap. Until last night. I thought kill-kill mean kill the offense

Let me start by saying that Rush is not the answer for the future....however, he does see the field better... reads defenses better....is more composed, and is more accurate than Dak.
So why would you say he’s not the answer to the future if he appears to do everything better than our starter now.

For a guy everyone wanted cut and a real backup brought in Rush is sure getting a lot of love. lol He has stepped up and did a good job just as he did last season vs Minn.

I’m not sure Jerry will let Quinn go. I see him being named head coach and letting McCarthy go. That way he maintains his defense.

The difference in pocket presence is night and day. Rush slides around in the pocket. O-lineman love this. He makes them look better. Pressure doesn’t bother him any. Dak is like a deer in the headlights. Rush hits receivers in stride. Dak is all over the place. Rush reads presnap blitz. Dak is lost! Rush throws receivers open. Dak holds the ball too long and waits for them to get open. Rush may not be the answer but he’s better than Dak…period. If you can’t see this, you are a Dak fan not a Cowboy fan.
This.

You know what Coop's success does don't you?
Most were bemoaning the fact we didn't have a backup quarterback on the roster, but Jerry said, essentially, "Don't worry."
With ever victory behind Coop, Jerry thinks he is that great a General Manager.
And you think he was talking up a storm about football matter before?
