IF he could play he’d be playing. He showed nothing in camp or pre season to say he can play. But if I was Jerry I’d let him start. You have nothing to lose and win by losing since you get more talent. You have a 4th for him, put him out there and at least he can scramble better than anyone else. I don’t think he can play but one sure fire way to see if let him play.

Not necessarily. Let's remember this is the same front office that had Bland on the bench, Dak sitting behind Kellen Moore, Miles Austin on the bench, Pollard behind Zeke...they have a long rich history of not playing guys.

Why do you think that? What on earth has this team showed you that just because guys don't play mean they can't? I'm sitting here watching Malik Hooker and Donovan Wilson suck and they won't play Juanyeh or Bell because then have more invested in those other guys.
 
Seems Lance is just not an NFL quality QB....and even if you play him and he lights it up, its not like they would re-sign him. Just a bonehead move all around.
 
So dumb. Just start Lance and see what he has and tank the season. I think we all know what he is, but might as well see it live in a season.

What's the worst that could happen? We get the #1 pick?

He isn’t the future. He isn’t a savior. Who cares if he rides the pine for the rest of his very short career? Dude is lucky to be getting a NFL paycheck.

They should be playing everyone. I’d play Lance myself. But Jerry knows he has a better chance of winning a meaningless gane or two with rush. I’d rather throw everyone out there, get them experience and see what you have. I’d rather not win another game than win a meaningless game or two that just costs us a chance at adding an elite player
