you know they're not gonna handle any positivity around here if it's not negative it's not worth discussing everything's stupid if it doesn't align with the negative posts that go on about 70% of the front page around here now..Is that your daily affirmation? Lol
And those are facts and look at those touchdown numbers I mean literally the man was throwing bombs I mean isn't that what we want one of the top scoring offenses I mean I don't see this as much of A change for Mike McCarthy it will be slightly different and we may not have improved but I think all the negative press about this is going to doom the Cowboys into the Dave campo years that's just ridiculous it looks like he knows how to be an offensive coordinator he has relationships with people around the league he's going to build a good staff I don't know about great I don't know how this is all going to turn out but I'm willing to give it a chance I mean let's just see what happens.Of course, people are complete packages, not just robots.
Have to say, I like the complete package that rendered these on-the-field numbers reflective of professional performance level. Three of the top four passer ratings the guy ever had. That's not chopped liver. That's compelling. That has to have some gravity. That would not appear to be a random thing.

yeah I think you're missing the bigger point...Well at least he’s liked
probably the additions of tyler lockett and dk metcalf after giving russ chopped liver at wr for the first half of his career.Of course, people are complete packages, not just robots.

Probably not random, but not necessarily because of Shotty. There could be a number of other hidden factors that were the impetus for those results.Of course, people are complete packages, not just robots.

Russell Wilson was a dang good QB in his heyday. People shouldn't be fooled by those that didn't watch him play. He and Rodgers were two of the best deep ball throwers I've ever seen. Mobile too. Shame he didn't have better OLs.Of course, people are complete packages, not just robots.

hey hey is this sarcasm??? I got enough mess on my back with all these eagles fans, I don't need yours either!HAHA
Are we forgetting that Schottenheimer has been the OC in Dallas the last two years? The same position he held in Seattle? I'm sure we will see some tweaks, but I'm surprised that people expect major changes to the offense. All things considered, these are great numbers. There is some hope here that Schotty can tailor the offense to Dak like he did with Russ.
OK so now you're insinuating that the coaches never have anything to do with it that means Ben Johnson Aaron Glenn and Cohen are in big trouble 'cause I don't get to have those players not altogether as a group not with also the rest of the coaching staff and the offense that can put up 40 points a game at times they don't get any of that there are new teams that were probably bad that's why they're looking for new head coaches so all these coaches who just got hired are on the same footing as Brian schottenheimer until they build something like that and improve the team so it's more about the players and the coaches is what you're saying?probably the additions of tyler lockett and dk metcalf after giving russ chopped liver at wr for the first half of his career.
That's all fair.Probably not random, but not necessarily because of Shotty. There could be a number of other hidden factors that were the impetus for those results.
I'm not denying the possibility that Shotty should get at least partial credit, if not the lion's share, just that one sample case isn't nearly enough to make that determination.
Right. Whether we like the hire or not, No-Schott has done some things well in his career as a coach. Whether he will be able to here likely depends a lot more on what the Joneses do to give him the personnel he needs. We've had Hall of Fame coaches here, we've had Super Bowl-winning coaches and we've had flame-outs, and all of them have shown that if you don't give them the talent it takes to win, the X's and O's don't really matter.Of course, people are complete packages, not just robots.

Not forgetting that at all. But this was definitely Mike's offense and he was the sole playcaller. There will be change no matter what. Whether it's sigificant or good or bad, we will see.Are we forgetting that Schottenheimer has been the OC in Dallas the last two years? The same position he held in Seattle?
