12.
Ashton Jeanty
RB Boise State
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/ashton-jeanty/32004a45-4142-7291-3a65-da29eaedce27

Drastically improves our run game

44.
Jonah Savaiinaea
OT Arizona
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/jonah-savaiinaea/32005341-5629-2109-a411-9050c58f1ecf

Technically a guard, this Samoan would be a nice successor to Zach Martin.

76.
Tyleik Williams
DT Ohio State
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/tyleik-williams/32005749-4c54-7635-e493-fa5bfedf094c

Massive nose tackle who can help us stop the run and clog the middle of the trenches.

150.
CJ West
DT Indiana
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/cj-west/32005745-5314-7430-9357-fa53c8a5072c

More of a 3 tech, he'd compliment the drafting of Tyleik Williams and can rush the passer from the 3 tech spot.

170.
Teddye Buchanan
LB California
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/teddye-buchanan/32004255-4322-1280-615f-e0ff6a162892

Good coverage linebacker, and I liked what I saw with his combine. Can never have enough linebackers.

172.
Clay Webb
OG Jacksonville State
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/clay-webb/32005745-4210-5786-84f1-686bf32985f0

Technically a C or a G, we can have him as a backup for either. Can never have enough guards.

174.
Brashard Smith
RB SMU
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/brashard-smith/3200534d-4908-2538-e2f9-73c89a5b03c8

Switched positions from WR to RB. Looks to be very quick. A good replacement for Vaughn.

190.
Justin Walley
CB Minnesota
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/justin-walley/32005741-4c52-3415-6b99-d18907b31bc4

Ballhawk style CB

211.
Kurtis Rourke
QB Indiana
https://www.nfl.com/prospects/kurtis-rourke/3200524f-5526-6938-2bf5-3db923fa6a15

Tough Canadian QB who would be a good replacement for Lance.

249.
LaJohntay Wester
WR Colorado

Decent slot WR option

Vaughn isn't going anywhere and I'm not waiting until 76 to address the DL.

I get that about not wanting to wait until 76, but Williams is a very good prospect, and I got a guard in round 2 who I think is a really good player. I know some may want Graham, but I have noticed he's been falling like a rock. When I do a trade down mock, I'll be taking a NT in round 2, but, for now, this was a decent layout considering we get the run game improved and a solid option at guard.

There is no way Williams is there at 76. He is probably a 1st round pick

I think he's probably more likely a second round prospect. Frankly, I'd imagine as I get to doing more of these, it'll be reflected that way. I'd love to trade back (which I'll be doing) and get both him and Savainnaea in round 2.

For me personally, I don't like Jeanty at 12. Every mock draft I do I find myself drafting 3 DTs simply because they are the best players available, especially in the 5th and 6th rounds. I like Buchanan a lot. He is strong and looks like a LB. I also like Demetrius Knight.

I don't like taking 2 offensive linemen. The Cowboys already have some young offensive linemen In Asim Richards, TJ Bass, Nathan Thomas, and Brock Hoffman. But I do see the value in drafting offensive line early to replace Zack Martin.

Well yeah, and that's why I wanted Savainnaea in round 2.

OT is another sneaky need. I would love this pick.

Well, technically, he's a guard, but he can play either side. By going with him and Webb, we can have options, especially since Tyler Smith can play guard or tackle, and they both make Terrance Steele redundant.

Love this draft but I agree that Williams will lot be there at 76. Might be gone before we even get to our 2nd pick.

Probably, and I'm expecting the boards to change when we get into April before the draft. But, for now, I think this would be a good draft. I'd have liked it if a good WR was available, but, unfortunately, I had to hit other needs, and I completely revamped the interior trenches with this draft and the run game. So, that'd make for a good draft. Plus, I got an underrated linebacker. So, all in all, I'd be thrilled with this draft. Just shows though that, without a trade down (partly why I do one with trades and one without), we can't fill out needs without free agency. And, even if we do trade down, we can't guarantee that we will hit with every pick. We need the FO to sign a wr I think.

Don’t get me wrong I would absolutely be thrilled if the draft went this way. The lb is very good and the two DT are too and you got a great Rb and another good one.

I take it you have no idea who Tyleik Williams is?? If Williams is somehow there at 76 it’s a steal.
I know exactly who Tyleik Williams is, he plays on my 2nd favorite college team.

But........I said nothing about him in my post. So where did your reply come from?

I appreciate that, and yeah, this would be a nice draft. Plus, the way I see it, the second back I got, since he started as a WR, he could be sort of used as a WR in some packages. To me, that makes him more valuable because we can use him and Turpin together in different packages. Plus, he gives us another return option. Also, I like the QB that I mocked to us. He's not got the biggest arm, but he's tough and seems like a smart player. He had a great season and his accuracy was solid. For a backup QB behind Dak, I think he would be a good addition too.
