"Baby Dez" Flournoy will make an impact.
Probably in the 4th quarter when Cooper Rush is in for an injured #4 and Dallas down by 18, but still...lol

In all seriousness, I do like him as a player. Dallas may have stumbled into picking a solid pro.

I will take it as a total win if he has more receiving yards than he does penalty yards.

I am pulling for the kid. But this is a great opportunity for the team as well. Let's find out of Flournoy was a pre-season flash or the real deal. I love the kids attitude. He wants to be the next Jerry Rice and says so. If he can stand the pressure he is putting on himself, maybe he becomes that guy. But let's find out. Knowing is valuable.

Hope he's ready and tuned in, he could help resurrect our season, then again let me be cautious on how I say wish. He will have 12 catches for 165 and 0 TD's this game, then will go on a streak of the next 3 games with a total of 6 catches for 63 yards and 1 TD, followed by an injury that will keep him out a few weeks!!! Seen it all before, i'll grab a coke and a smile right now

Ryan Flourney is but one lonely player, among many youngsters, that we have to rely upon in the future. We're a gradually developing team of very talented players who will require patience and sound coaching to get rolling as championship contenders.

In the meantime, patience will be required while their abilities are developed into what great teams must have in their systems. We have many youngsters on both sides of the ball with talents that demand time to become better prepared to win.
I see this team as one that really needs sufficient time to develop their skills. It's a long process. It'll be a marathon, not a sprint. :flagwave:

We have a better chance of Duece playing Wide receiver. No doubt he will go on the 53. Highly doubtful he will be activated. Hope I am wrong. We need a big bodied WO who has speed and size.
He is already on the 53. And with Cooks out, he will be active. Cooks will be inactive.

FRISCO, Texas — Ryan Flournoy hasn't taken a single snap since the Dallas Cowboys completed their preseason takedown of the Los Angeles Chargers on Aug. 24, a contest in which he had three catches, 30 yards and a touchdown on three targets.

He finished the preseason with a total of seven catches, 53 yards and two touchdowns over the course of the final two preseason games alone, and that was more than enough, in conjunction with a very impressive training camp in Oxnard, to secure his seat on the 53-man roster.

But then came his next challenge: making his NFL debut.

Hope he makes at least one red zone contribution, we need TDs instead of FGs
