We have a better chance of Duece playing Wide receiver. No doubt he will go on the 53. Highly doubtful he will be activated. Hope I am wrong. We need a big bodied WO who has speed and size.
I am SURE....you meant "strength" going without saying with "big body".

We need someone that can manhandle the defense AND the ball.

Ryan Flourney is but one lonely player, among many youngsters, that we have to rely upon in the future. We're a gradually developing team of very talented players who will require patience and sound coaching to get rolling as championship contenders.

In the meantime, patience will be required while their abilities are developed into what great teams must have in their systems. We have many youngsters on both sides of the ball with talents that demand time to become better prepared to win.
I see this team as one that really needs sufficient time to develop their skills. It's a long process. It'll be a marathon, not a sprint. :flagwave:

We’ve been a young gradually developing team for about 2 decades now.

I thought he was a bit bigger. 6 foot 1 inch and 202 lbs isn't that big. Thought he was an inch taller and 215. I think.he is 24 so he probably won't get much bigger. I know he tested very well at the combine.

Let's hope Flourney runs wild on 'em -- maybe like 9 receptions for 150 yards, three TDs and numerous pats on the back.
And that merely in the first half, mind you -- in the second half, it gets much better . . .:omg:

It's already been a marathon it's been like 30 years I don't know how much patience I have left for life for that matter.
We need a real Coach that can fast track these kids into championship form so us old guys can see a super bowl before we hit the box.

If you're getting antsy, welcome to the club . . . it's an ongoing situation that's likely to continue as long as the Jones family owns this old franchise.
Get used to it. Jerry & Son will continue their penny-pinching ways ad infinitum or, at least 'til they're pushing up daisies. I've been putting up with them since when the Jones' ownership was born. Some things never change. The decades continue, but so does this team's owners. Patience is the key to sanity with this team.

We need more than just a coach -- our coaches come and go like the meals we eat on a daily basis. That seems very likely to continue as long as Jerry & Son manage this outfit. They're not overly familiar with the intricacies of pro football management, and it never seems to change. I've been sticking with this team throughout the inception of this Jones' ownership and the ups and downs never seem to change too drastically. You're right -- it's a marathon, not a sprint, and an endless marathon, at that. I often resort to watching the Houston Texans for relief. ;)

Run your routes, get separation, and catch the ball. Don’t try to be the teams hero.

If he does that he will be fine. I think he will be okish but not good.

I started following the Cowboys in the late sixties I believe I have seen the absolute best of Cowboys football.

Now I just hope to see these money hungry prima donnas play some good football once in awhile and give me something tolerable to watch.

The seventies I used to anxiously look forward to watching every game I had ultimate confidence always felt we were bulletproof with Roger and Tom Landry.

Now a lot of the time I almost feel obligated out of some strange sense of loyalty to the past to watch them I struggle now to find players that I really like when in the 70s I like them all.
Jerry has all but taken America's team out of the Cowboys and made it a mediocre also ran to fill his pockets
