Teams are so focused on stopping Favre and not giving up big plays to their 5 WR sets that they have to give up some yards on the ground. You cant take away everything, Grant doesnt scare anyone.

The problem with this is that they've seen a 40% increase in their rushing production since Grant has been starting.

Maybe they're paying even less attention than they were. Or maybe it's because Grant is good.

Green Bay's YPG:
Grant Starting: 100.2
Grant not Starting: 71.2

My exposure to Grant has been very limited so I'm not qualified to assess his future potential.

However, even if the Pack had been maintaining 100.2 rushing yards per game throughout the season, they would still only rank 19th in rushing. Consequenly, I'm not too concerned about their ground game.

I'm not saying to be worried about it, because their O-line is terrible at run-blocking. Most of Grant's yardage comes off sweeps and draws anyway, so they're not going to line up and pound the ball. But the guy is good. If they can improve their run-blocking next season, their YPG will go up tremendously.
