Hmmm...not sure I like him over a couple of the guys after him, but I'd take him over Downs (who goes ahead of him).

Having to choose between him and Banks would be a wonderful scenario.

Addison is arguably WR1 according to some - this would be a great pick.

I would love Addison.

However, this also means we signed a starter or two at MLB, CB, LG

I'd think they would go Addison if this is the board. I would be good with it. He'd help our WR corp and we desperately need that. But I'm all about continuing the rebuild of the O-line so I'd lean towards Torrence or I don't see OT B Jones so he'd be hard to pass on at 26.

The Eagles did that in the top 10…and he’s arguably the best #2 WR in football.
You mean the Hiesman trophy winner who Dallas basically traded to the Eagles. Small receivers do not fit their profile. They will draft a player that fits their measurements in the first round.

If Dallas hadn’t traded with Philly, the the Giants at 11 would have drafted Smith. He was going to be in the division, no matter what.

My point is he never was going to be a Cowboy. The draft show does the same stuff. They bring up players that don’t fit the Cowboys profile and act like the Cowboys are going to draft him. They never draft small receivers.

Easy there man… I’m just saying Smith was going to be either in Philly or NY… so Dallas just got a free 3rd round pick.

I’m not saying they’ll draft a small WR.

The post was not intended for you. I have watched the Cowboys for over 45 years and I have never seen them pick a little wide receiver in the first.

The smallest that I remember in the first round is Mike Sherrard in the 1986 draft. He was 6-1, 185. That’s the closest to a small 1st round receiver that I can come up with. He wasn’t short, he was just light.

Like it or not, there might not be WR or a CB available that the team is interested in taking in round 1. That’s why I think Kinkaid is going to be a target. Especially if OBJ is added in FA as many expect.

Yea. And we’ve also met with multiple smaller WRs at the combine.

I don’t know if we’ll draft one or not but if Addison is available at 26 and we don’t draft him our FO is dumb as dirt.

Really what if the Cowboys sign OBJ? Addison would not see the field.
