I can't believe the Cardinals cut him. This guy if healthy could start over Murray, just like how he was drafted ahead of him in the same draft. Baller!!

They hit 6th round gold last year with Andre Ellington. They also have Stepfan Taylor. Easier to move on from an injured player when you have two young horses ready to go.

If and it's a VERY BIG "IF" he can stay healthy then we might've stole one here. He needs to do a better job of holding onto the football if I remember correctly as well.

With Williams, Harris, Malena and Glasco their could be a real battle for 2 RB spots in camp.

I was excited when I heard we brought in Williams for a tryout. Really expected him to be signed, and glad to hear that he was.

Just as you said, there are quite a few running backs being brought in, that I think can really do some things. I'll be stunned if one of them doesn't supplant Randle, and perhaps even another replacing Dunbar.

All 4 of those running backs are interesting prospects.

I don't like signing another injury prone player especially if he isn't any better and stops the chances of one of the rooks we just brought in. They deserve a shot at being looked at too. Williams has already had his chance and was injured all the time.

Also needs to improve on pass protection if I recall.

I'm not into giving up on a player who is just entering his second season, but I certainly believe in latching onto the best competition available for his roster spot.

Wouldn't even mind if the team found a better starter than Murray because it simply would mean we're stronger than we were at that position.

Glad to have the ever underappreciated Demarco Murray but also glad to see this signing. Competition raises the level of everyone involved... even the prized QB.

The final straw was Arizona signing Jonathan Dwyer. That gave the Cardinals speed in Ellington, power in Dwyer and then Taylor as the all around. Instead of continuing to wait, they cut him loose.

You talk about smart Veteran signings, the Cowboys just made two of those in one week.

Nice shot Front Office.
