Sign him and let him compete with Randle. If Murray were to get hurt then it will come down to Randle or Williams to start and Dunbar can handle the change of pace role that he already has. Although I still like Glasco Martin as well. I hope Garrett truly opens this competion up and let the best 2 or 3 guys get the jobs behind Murray.

With Williams, Harris, Malena and Glasco their could be a real battle for 2 RB spots in camp.

If we are fortunate and he stays healthy, we've added a very talented RB to the roster. His usage will be relatively low so hopefully that helps as far as him avoiding injury.

I actually liked the Randle pick, but he was thoroughly unimpressive last year.

IMO, there's a real opportunity for a RB here with Murray's injury history and impending free agency and not much of anything behind him on the depth chart.

Tell me...was that because of Jerry listening to his scouts or coaches? In another thread, you say that Jerry should be the one that picks up good players and a good GM shouldn't have to listen to his scouts or coaches. Your words, "as a GM, give me the keys and get out of my way."

So, are you saying now that Jerry did a good job and he did listen to his scouts and coaches? Or was it Jerry that did a good job this time?

Because if Jerry picks up a player or two that YOU don't like, now he is a terrible GM.
