S/CB Corey White claimed today by Cowboys

A true FS may be the rarest commodity in all of football. You would think that converting bigger CB's to FS would be more common in today's game.

It's interesting because the team didn't tender Sterling Moore 1.5 million to keep him but they just picked up White off waivers for the same amount.

Kinda strange we put in a claim for this guy.. Why not wait til he passes waivers.. Then sign him for the vet min..

Because he had stated that he would like to play for his hometown team the Falcons. Maybe the Cowboys didn't want to chance it.

And as for Sterlings tweet, he set up a visit for Monday. Did he expect the Cowboys to stand pat and wait?

Hopefully they plan on moving him back to FS full time.

Also seems to be a good special teams player. Good fit to replace Harris and Spillman.

White also ran a 4.39 40 at his Pro Day.

Whats the risk here? Cant they just cut him after training camp and not be out much at all? If so, then why not add him?
