Its weird because they are so deep at receiver that they could afford to have Lamb out there. Is Lamb already to important to be out there returning punts?

I never understood it. Whats the difference between getting hurt on a slant route or a punt? I just don't see the issue.I don’t get it.
I haven’t seen any evidence that punt returns are higher risk for injury than any offensive snap is either.
Jason Sehorn gets hurt like 30 years ago on a return and ever since then people are afraid of it.
To see Lamb make that catch, take a massive shot and just pop up and flex his shoulders.
Man the kid is special

Antonio Brown returned punts when he was an All Pro and leading the NFL in receptions. Julian Edelman returned punts while being the Pats best WR.
This fan base seems obsessed with putting some scrub on punt returns because, apparently, special teams don't matter (even though they do).

I think there is just something that makes you cringe thinking of guys building up full steam at someone who is or is expected to be a star.
He is a wirily dude though... I think he could be pretty amazing at it.
I don't know where this team is headed, likely not a good place. But I am going to enjoy watching Lamb. I know Gallup is the one who stands out because of the end but Lamb had a great game. He is a rare talent the type you can enjoy even when the team around him is not coming through,.
I hear ya. Not to say punt returns can’t be dangerous. But so far lambs decision making us been good. He seems to have a feel for when he needs to call fair catch and what not.
And the odds of getting hurt on punts seem low too. I can't recall many Cowboy getting hurt doing it.Because the odds of scoring on punts are so low and you have 11 men wanting to take your head off.
what? you sure youre in the right thread?Lamb, Gallup, Cooper, Zeke, Dak, strong TEs.
Assuming Dak makes a full recovery, why would anyone want to rock that boat?
Answer: Nobody with any real football knowledge would.

Is there a risk though? They are already a better punt team than they were last year in thanks because of Lamb.I just don't think it's worth the risk.
The team came through today. In case you didn’t hear, the won.I don't know where this team is headed, likely not a good place. But I am going to enjoy watching Lamb. Man I loved that lol
I agree. I love that little shoulder shrug he does after he makes a play. I still don’t know if that’s like purposeful or just a “tic” of his. But it’s awesome.

Yeah i don't watch college ball... But, has to be disheartening to the defender when that skinny kid just jumps up and is like... pfft. I mean he looks really thin... but he doesn't care lol.
You don't do ti for scoring though you do it to give your offense good field position. There's always a risk and for such a low percentage chance of scoring it's just not worth it.
