Sacrificial Lamb

Yeah i don't watch college ball... But, has to be disheartening to the defender when that skinny kid just jumps up and is like... pfft. I mean he looks really thin... but he doesn't care lol.
I'm not being funny I can't recall someone his size doing the stuff he does. I don't know if its the #88 that makes him look smaller than he is or what.. I've seen short guys built like him but never anyone at 6'1.

I just looked it up and Wikipedia says he is 6' 2" 198lbs. The NFL says 6' 2" 200lbs...

I think someone is lying, unless he had bricks in his pockets lol.

I don't know where this team is headed, likely not a good place. But I am going to enjoy watching Lamb. I know Gallup is the one who stands out because of the end but Lamb had a great game. He is a rare talent the type you can enjoy even when the team around him is not coming through,.
You know it’s crazy, people often say “trade Gallup… “And I can’t help but think to myself “why not Cooper instead? “. I guess it’s a good dilemma to have‍♂️

Is Lamb already to important to be out there returning punts?

I said that @ the very beginning of the year...and people laughed @ me. No way in hell....I got him out there....but that is our dumb special teams coach for you.

Do we not have the dumbest special teams coach in the NFL? Every week...it's some kind of gaff that you just shake your head @. :omg:

Lamb is already our best reciever...but this receiving corp is deep...Wilson and Brown are good as well...can they play defense,,,lol

Seriously glad to see most of our WRs getting good plays and outstanding catches.

Lamb was a bad pick. We needed a defense player.

Still he is a great pickup. I love to watch him play.

Bad pick. Bad FO. Great player.

Lamb may be the most natural WR that I’ve seen since... maybe Moss? Just everything about him oozes football smarts. From the angles he takes and his great hands, to his ability to make guys miss and find the open spot... he just understands football in general and playing WR, in particular.

And he is going to get better. Way better. That is a scary proposition for defenses in the games and years to come.

Playing WR is maybe the toughest position to come in as a rookie and make a difference. Year after year, great college WR’s come in and struggle in the NFL.

Lamb has made it look easy. Just a seamless transition from Oklahoma to the Pro’s.

I have loved his game since his Freshman season at OU and I expected him to hit the ground running... but never did I think he’d look like a guy who who’d been to numerous Pro Bowls already from the get-go.

Dude is phenomenal.

I begin to rage when he is not out on the field. Like I get really upset inside.
I think dak had too many options to throw to if that's possible. Cooper doesnt get the respect he deserves. He's the only one who can beat elite cbs. He saved daks career in 2018. Gallup is.a good receiver who can make great catches, but has only good speed. That's why he pushes off so much. He only runs 4.51. When he's covered by an elite corner with even good speed, he can't get open without pushing. His greatest asset is his size and spect catch ability. Lambs strength is his hands. He has the longest arms and best hands in the receiving corp. He has solid speed and good quickness. He's not a burner and he's skinny so he's not that strength. Coopers strength is his elite route running which allows him to get open on any corner. He also has great burst and really good speed.. He runs 4.4. his hands are only solid, so he's not the type to catch bad passes. He just needs to get healthy.

Lamb is 6'2

Kid is a stud. I haven't seen a WR come into the league and make as smooth of a transition as him in a long time (I'm sure there have been other great rookie WR players recently but I'm drawing a blank right now).

Imagine being a D-Coordinator trying to game plan Cooper, Gallup, and Lamb. haha

Lamb And Gallup the future for Cowboys WRs.... I hope. The Cowboys really are great at 3 WR positions right now

I'm confused by the thread title.
Is Lamb being sacrificed?
Are You advocating some sort of sacrifice? (to dark Eldritch powers for immortal life and/or SB's or to other teams for draft picks and/or players).
Explain please.

I couldn't believe it when he fell to us in the draft. I thought he was the best WR in the draft and in the top ten overall. And this draft is looking like a great WR class. Almost every game I watch has rookie WRs making plays.

Lamb is a beast, but let's not forget what he has on the outside that leave gaping holes in the middle of defenses.

He's becoming one of my favorite players, and he's just scratching the surface. Can't wait to watch his career.

they have been, but CeeDee is a cut above all though I have not seen Justin Jefferson yet.

We really need to figure out how to use him in the screen game. We haven’t really seen his awesome after the catch ability yet.

Hope so, I'll bet he gets better in the second half of the season. I watched the Steelers Eagles game yesterday and Claypool lit up the Eagles for four touchdowns, talk about a speed/size prospect.
