I'll take half of either Hutch or Henson and still have more character than a full dose of Quincy Carter. I know something about him that won't be reported and it is as bad as hitting a woman. Let him take a swing at me. I'll avenge her.

Do not get me wrong , mang. Carter is scum. I do not care if he wants to snort draino in a dumpster with a streetwalker. You start hitting women especially when they are trying to get a way from you and you deserve to go to the lowest circle of hell.

I just do not know about calling Hutchinson a character guy. I am not talking about Parcells either. I just know his type.

LOL.

Sad? Really?

The first time it was sad.

The second time you might still feel some what sorry for the guy.

It's been enough times now that it's no longer sad it's just the reflection of the fact that the guy is a loser.

Always has been and probably always will be.

The only thing sad is that the girlfriend doesn't have a father/brother/friend who beat the hell out of him for this crap.

It was his own doing. He had the best gig in all of sports: starting QB for the Dallas Cowboys. How do you screw that up?

Drugs!!!! :bang2: I wish all of the people that think recreational drugs don't harm anyone could understand the cost that they put on our society. If American's didn't have a drug appetite, it wouldn't be so easy to get them and there would be far less violence trying to get them across our boarders!

Sorry but I hate watching our youth get hooked and turn into 33 year old men like QC is today. All based on the desire to escape reality for a bit of time.

once again, another brilliant draft pick from our pathetic GM, Jerry Jones.... a player everyone had as atleast a sixth round pick, but Jerry thought he knew better than anyone else, and that QC was worth a second round pick.....

It's amazing how many fans thought this guy was the ONE, and how divided fans became over this dude, unreal. When I heard the Cowboys coaches had to show him how to throw a spiral I knew his career was over before it started.

I think he needs jail to save his own life. Wish he would get caught in Phoenix. Sheriff Joe would turn his life around. Or upside down at least.

Cowards hit women. He's a coward.

The more and more I think about it the more and more I realize upbringing has so much to do with the way some people act. Before you lay in to me, I'm not saying it excuses behavior and removes culpability, I'm just saying it's a huge influence.

I was brought up in an environment where my parents argued when they had big disagreements but they never hit. They also never used foul language around us and the same was expected from us. It's the same with me, whenever I'm around elders I never curse and I wouldn't think to lay a hand on my girlfriend. I bet this guys dad was really abusive.

Kind of weird, because I can curse like a sailor at times.

You still have to step on that path yourself. If I followed the lead set for me I would be in jail for a long, long time.

Right, which is why I made sure to say I'm not excusing this guys behavior. But when you're brought up in a house where this kind of thing takes place on a weekly or daily basis, it sure does make stepping onto that path easier. Some people are probably so twisted they justify their behavior through what has happened in their own house hold growing up. In other words, he needs help.

upbringing does matter but in the end its all on the individual to go down the right path. Now I know some are brought up so badly they never found out what was right or wrong, but that is a relative few to the many that had good parents, home, etc and still ended up as scum.

From all accounts he only does MJ; but of course how many of you claim MJ is completely harmless? He is a weak person and they will fall sooner or later.

Well, he apparently has a drinking problem also. Alcohol is one of the worst addictions that one can have because it is so readily accessible and its effects vary person to person.

If he wants to drink and do drugs, don't bring other people into it and make them suffer the repercussions. He should just sit in a locked room and knock himself out.

It would be easier for him to turn it around, if he could see a future for himself. Football is over, what else could he do with his life?

Every time I read one of the many stories about Carter, it reminds me how right I was five years ago. I never saw anything from this guy. Average arm, fairly inaccurate, an athlete who never really could run, not very bright, underminding (Arizona game)..the list goes on.

Some people on here were dead set on Carter as a franchise QB (I won't mention any names but one huge Carterite already posted twice in this thread). I'm no scout, but I hit this one on the head.

Oh well, back to reallity and we still suck.
