The Quinnen trade is what makes it. Ultimately I’m fine with the trade at this point.

That said. The graphic isn’t really accurate because if you’re counting picks the cowboys used this year for Malachi. You have to count the second rounder this year given to the gets which wound up being D’Angelo ponds.

Then you have to count whoever the jets take with the first rounder next year.

So it’s not at lopsided as this graphic would people believe.

Parsons was an injury waiting to happen. Undersized speed rusher who can’t hold up over the course of a season and fizzles out by week 9

Thats just the thing. Parsons can't win a Superbowl by himself. This isn't boxing or golf.

We clearly won the trade because we got the services of multiple good players opposed to just having a very good pass rusher who is a liability against the run and fades towards the end of the season.

The Packers can win the next 3 Superbowls in a row and that still doesn't mean the Packers won the trade unless Parsons had a Lawrence Taylor affect in each of the Packers playoff games.

Parsons had one sack in how many playoff games combined with us? He needs more than one sack in the biggest games to justify the salary that he now has.

Most of us who wanted to trade Parsons wanted to trade him for this very reason. Stack the defense with more talent over paying a guy like Parsons big bucks. We haven’t seen how it plays out on the field yet, but it’s weird how people are just obsessed with winning this trade. I like the pieces they have collected and the DC let’s see how it plays out.

Unfortunately Pickens won’t command why Parsons commands in a trade. I think they floated the idea of him signing his tag to get teams to inquire on draft day, and it appears nobody bit. So as of now he’s worth what we are willing to payment and not worth much on the trade market.
