I just saw that Killa Keith didn't suffer a concussion - just blurred vision from his eyelid being flipped up (really????). I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad KD will be playing strong safety.

yeah what happen to dawayne davis he looked alright in preseason for a strong safety....fast and can hit....we need to find somebody like the Commanders found in chris horton a late round draft pick that can play...you dont always need a safety in the first round

Overview
Daren Stone may be the best pro prospect in the A-10 available for the 2007 NFL draft. First-team all-Atlantic-10 performer who played in the East-West Shrine Game and did very well at his Combone workout and at the pro day.

Strengths
Heady, explosive player with great measurables for the position. Outstanding vertical leap (40+"), broad jump (11'5"), and good speed. Classic run-stuffing, blitzing strong safety, who moves around well in coverage. Leader of a solid mid-level IAA defensive team. Tons of "upside" with this cat.

Weaknesses
Not yet a great pass defender. Must be paired with a great pass-defending FS if he is to ever start at the next level. Does not make nearly enough plays in the passing game. Not a blazer. Needs to add strength, but certainly has the frame to do so.

Projection
With a great E-W Shrine Game week of practice,a solid Combine and even better pro day, Daren should go anywhere from round 4 to round 6..

4.47 40 yard dash is pretty good. He ran that at his pro-day though...but 6'3 215 nice size for a saftey and a punishing saftey...atleast good on special teams

Just another position that needs addressed next April.

What sucks is that we thought we had the 2ndary more than stacked. we were talking about moving Henry to S at times b/c we had that kind of flexibility. If Dave Campo weren't so short, I'd say put him in there! hehe
