Fortunate?? They called a good delayed blitz and made a hell of an interception. It's not as though Brees just handed them the ball or they got a crazy bounce or something. They caused those turnovers.

No.

Duncan will go down as arguably the best PF of all time. Brees will not go down as arguably the best QB of all time.

Other than that, you're analysis is spot on.

Well, that, and if we exclude championships too.

but that's what jaws says....he's an expert, you're not.

making sacks and forcing fumbles then returning them for TDs and getting your CB to int a ball isnt fluke plays or being fortunate .....they didnt luck into it...they made the plays ....its called defense, its a third of the game ..they deserve the credit.....you beat Saints by taking the ball away...Falcons are doing that......

I dunno. It seems like the Brees' bashers are only doing it because they feel Romo is unfairly bashed.

Seems pretty stupid.

well then you missed the entire point of what I was saying.

I like brees, think he is excellent.

My point was simply that he is operating an aggressive offense, and by nature that will lead to alot of big plays and alot of bad plays and that is what they get.

Brees makes as many mistakes if not more than romo in a similar offense but it is perceived differently. Both are running a very aggressive offense and are being coached to take chances, brees more than romo now but still very similar.

Sorry if you cant figure out that it isnt a knock on brees.

I don't have any clue what you said and wasn't asking in response to anything you said. I was just asking in general.

From previous Saints games and talk of Brees, it just looks a lot like some people are out to bash Brees only because Tony is bashed.
