Should have went for the 15 yard pass to the sideline.

yeah that was puzzling. What do they call those, smash routes...

You would think they had a shot at one.

Well Ryan pulled an early season Romo, this should've been a Falcon win just as Dallas had no business losing to New York.

With out a doubt. No need to dump it from there. Poor management in the last two minutes by Ryan and coaches, even with all the bounces they got.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. They had time to get a little closer and then take the shot at the end zone.

Romo > Ryan

They choose protection and saints still got pressure with 3...

The Falcons should be ashamed of themselves. There is a reason why this franchise has NEVER had back to back winning seasons.

The Falcons beat the spread with that field goal. Everyone who bet on the Saints lost.

So who is this Tony Gannzoles person whom Jon Gruden kept referencing?:D

Good game tonight. An Atlanta loss is more likely to benefit Dallas in the future.

Lol at Stuart Scott. "Who dey think goin' beat them saints?" Who dey is bengals, who DAT is Saints.

Matty "Ice" choked, plain and simple.

I really dont think "Ice" understood the game situation the Falcons found themselves in. I mean, taking a sack on that last drive was just inexcusable, they teach you that in Jr. High.

I've heard numerous "experts" and such on ESPN and Fox claim that the Cowboys aren't in the same class as the Saints and the Packers. No one in the NFC East is for that matter. They've based this analysis on who has played who, and the results...

I wonder if they'll change their tune at all now that the Falcon team that we handily beat in all three phases of the game damn near beat the team that is so obviously "out of our league".? At the very least, they played the high and mighty Saints far closer than they did our lowly Cowboys.

Somehow I doubt it.

Terrific game tonight. Very entertaining. 17 replay reviews and all....

Glad Atlanta lost gives us a little more room to play with in the wild card race

Good point, we probably are not catching the Saints for homefield even if we win the East, so it was more beneficial for the Falcons to take another loss.

Look at it this way, if we end up losing the division to the Eagles or Giants, the Falcons are probably our main competition for a WC. Thus, with the loss tonight and the loss last week to Dallas, the Falcons are in effect 2 games behind us right now.

Did Steve Young say Ryan is having the best sophomore season ever??

Dan Marino in his 2nd year=48 TDs, his team went to the SB

Shut up, Steve.

That would have been the obvious choice, but I actually heard the Packers mentioned by two analysts today.

...but yeah, they probably meant the Vikings.
