Saints and Shanle getting owned

I guess having Dante hall Kennsino and gonzlaz dont exist on that team

yes KC runs the ball, but they are also a league leading team in Passing yards. Not the easiest team to defend

Well, Gonzo is your only threat there. Dante Hall (god bless him, gig em) is only a threat when returning but occasionally makes the play when playing wideout. Kennison, meh.

But Trent Green, no matter what anyone says, very underrated QB. Thought he was good on the Skins too. Just my two cents.

I might add too, once again, their running back seems to have no problems gaining yards on a front seven that gave us troubles. That oline is going to go down as the one thing that prevented Bill from winning another Super Bowl. :banghead:

What game were you watching?

First series, running backs had 5 carries for 21 yards.

Second series, 3 carries for 2 yards.

Thrid series, 3 carries for 0 yards.

4th series, 6 carries, 10 yds.

First half 17 carries, 33 yards. Thats 2 yds per carry was awesome.

Well, if you wanna know, the thread was started during the second series, and I was simply offering my opinion at the time that we still had a subpar starting running game. After being assaulted and told to go to hell for that opinion, I offered up the evidence that MB3 seemed to make the chains move better than JuJo. So, in a nutshell, that was "what game I was watching." :)

He tore up the 7 man fronts? So the safety made all the tackles?

this makes your football knowledge look awful, please save yourself before i school you on how bringing a safety into run support very much impacts how teams run the ball.

If you care to go back and watch

we started off running well (first 4 runs) then they brought up the safety packing 8 in the box on us then we took to the air and destroyed them its a double edged sword bringing up the safety it hurts your pass defense dredfully

JJones...I was clearly talking to TBC. I KNOW the Saints brought 8 and 9 into the box against us. You are preaching to the choir.

Couldn't agree more... The OL is just not good.

Well, there were some signs of hope last night. We are definitely going to need a healthy Flozell this season, and he was the hands down winner as the most critical member on the offense in another thread. It seems likely to me , even if McQuistan and Columbo pan out, we will still be looking for more OL help this off season. I guess it goes with the territory.

and someone else might also add that we were not facing a front seven, but rather a front eight. and someone else might also add that we indeed did NOT have any problem running against them in the first quarter, and it wasn't until Flozell went out of the game that they gave us any resistance whatsoever.

someone else may, at some point, add that.
someone else may also add that the Saints defense sucks.

I am beginning to think we need to start a "Dumbest Poster Thread" and my nominee is TBC.
