Saints finaling Jimmy Graham to Seattle trade *merge*

I can see both sides...maybe even more for the Saints.

The Saints are really hurting cap-wise

They free up the 10mil/year from Graham
They get versatile, 28 year old, 2 time Pro Bowler in Max Unger
Plus they get an additional 1st round pick this year.

That's not too bad at all

Considering the Saint's were almost forced to dump some salary, they came out of this in much better shape. Usually when teams are up against a wall, they get hammered! Saint's did well.

Wow this is crazy. Hard to believe the Saints would trade Graham, he's such a huge part of their offense

I think Saints came out of this trade very well. Aqib Talib shut Graham down last season when the Saints played the Pats. For as big of a guy as Jimmy is, he's kind of weak when it comes to pushing around other players

Jimmy Graham to Seattle for Max Unger and a 1st round pick.

Good pick up Seattle I think considering their offensive scheme.

I'm not so sure the Saints didn't get the better end of this deal....

1. W/ that #1 pick from Seattle ...they proabaly target Maxx Williams TE Minnesota

2. So that means they shed $$$.

3. In the process...get a Pro Bowl C in Unger. Saints have been desperately looking for a C for 2 years....now have one of the best

For Seattle.....the interior of their O-line has been gutted. And now have no #1st to help stop the leaking. There was a reason Beast Mode was so good.....Seattle had a great O-line. Now.......it's in shambles. And now watch Lynch fall off a cliff....And people in Seattle are gonna wonder what happened?

This one I definitely don't like. TE was a hole for them. They don't need to get better.

Wish we'd fill our obvious gaping hole with a good player too... one can dream.
