lmao...

That's a good one. One of those guys has some serious issues with the state of Texas.

You mean like this?:

At least we "bought" Louisiana, They stole Texas from the Mexicans.

If it's any cosolation it pretty much seems like the Mexicans have stolen it back.

I'm not sure why their fans are so confident. New Orleans has not beaten a single team with a winning record. In fact, the four games they've against teams over .500 are their 4 losses. They are the Cowboys of 2003, coasting by on a fairly easy schedule and getting ebaten by the good teams.

Let's see...the Cowboys have beaten 3 teams that now have a winning record - Indianapolis (10-2), Jacksonville (7-5) and Carolina (6-5). That is somewhat misleading - Atlanta was undefeated when the Saints beat them the first time, Philly led the NFC East when the Saints knocked them off.

Saints are 7-1 against NFC, Cowboys 5-3.

The NFC South is comparable to the NFC East - Saints are 4-1 against their division, the Cowboys 2-3 against theirs. Saints are 1-0 against the NFC East, Cowboys 2-0 against the NFC South.

Against common opponents:

Philly - Saints win by 3, Cowboys lose by 14
Carolina - Saints lose by 3, Cowboys win by 24
Tampa Bay - Saints win by 3 and 17, Cowboys win by 28

Saints rank 1st in the NFC in offense, Cowboys 3rd.
Cowboys rank 3rd in the NFC in defense, Saints 5th.

Sounds like 2 fairly evenly-matched teams, to me.

Had they not beaten the Falcons twice, the Falcons would be a winning team, had they not beaten the Eagles, the Eagles would be a winning team, had they not beaten the 49ers, they would be a .500 team. Also, in 2003, the Cowboys lost to a 7-8 team the last game of the season.

Call me when you've beaten the best team in football. Check that, call me when you've beaten a team with a winning record. Check that again, call me when you beat a decent team on the road.....Damnit

If my aunt had nuts she'd be my uncle

And Dallas rested many of it's players in that final game of 2003, as they had already clinched a playoff berth

The NFC South is nowhere near the caliber of the NFC East...and playing on the road in the NFC South is not the same as playing on the road in the NFC East. NFC South divisional road games don't involve much cold weather. Carolina plays in Charlotte, but that isn't too far north. 2 of the teams play in domes, and one plays near Disney World.

If the Saints were to knock off a Giants team in the Meadowlands (where they're always tough), or to knock off Indy, then they would earn my respect.

The Cowboys punched Peyton Manning and the undefeated Colts in the mouth on the way to a tough victory. The game yesterday was a tough victory against a Giants team that gave the Cowboys everything they could handle.

This year's Saints remind me of the 2003 Cowboys. They have their strengths and their moments, but fall short against tough opponents.

The Saints don't play San Diego this year, the Saints beat Atlanta when they had a winning record, beat Phily when they had a winning record, beat Atlanta on the road

No we don't. We lost to Jacksonville (7-5), New York (6-6), Washington (4-8, and we should have won if not for a blocked kick and a horrible officals call on the last play) and Philly (5-6)

We've lost to two teams with losing records, and have much more impressive wins.

I stand corrected. If Carolina loses tonight (which is still possible), the Cowboys have beaten exactly 1 team with a winning record and have lost to 3 with losing records this year...impressive. :)

Where is the logic in that?

shoulda woulda coulda...good luck to your team on Sunday - hope it's a great game.

I think they have some pretty interesting forums as well. This will be a great matchup between to high powered offenses....

:lmao2: @ the Saints fans.

They have a thread asking what Tony Romo will experience in the game, and several are bragging about the power known as Scott Fujita. If that's their menacing pass rusher, we should have no problem on that defense.
