The Saints are the second best team in this year's NFC, Sunday will show just how close or distant they are to the best team which is Dallas.Pleading the Fif;1209915 said:Tough opponents like the 3-0 Falcons, the 4-1 Eagles, a .500 San Fran team who had won 3 out of their last 4? Wait... the Saints won all those games.
Granted, the Saints have sucked against the AFC, losing at home to Baltimore, Cincy, and on the road to Pittsburgh. But that's essentially irrelevant when you look at the playoff picture. If you have to lose games, you want to lose out-of-division, out-of-conference games. The Saints are 7-1 in the NFC and are firmly in the driver's seat for a first round bye.
Don't downplay what the Saints have done this year and us Saints fan won't downplay what the Cowboy's have done. These teams are very evenly matched and it should be a close game.

We've lost to two teams with losing records, and have much more impressive wins.

EDIT: I just caught the "best team which is Dallas" part. I don't necessarily agree with that, but I do agree we'll see how close either are to the best NFC team which is the Bears.
